Hey, I was going to stop by with a few more hugs but I can't get near you there are so many people already there. never mind 'group hugs': this is more of a forum hug and you're going to need a bigger place, skezier, if more folks pile in. You take care, my friend and start handing jobs out. I know I'll be back on the roof soon. I've got me thermals packed. ((((())))) a big pot of tea and a few slurpy biscuits. Be with you tomorrow.

Hi Jan, May, Maria, Ruby, DD, Julie, Jane, Sticky, Barbara, Clare, Joan, Fols, Rose and All,

Thank you all again and its not till 4pm that we are off.

I have taken it a bit easy and got a bit more sensation today.. still don;t know I need to wee but at least I do eventually or think I should and find I do as well so there is some improvement....

    I think I know why.....

I haven't had to either bath Gimpy the dog, or chase him across the fields today.....See he might have to be the first that I do take before he is ready cus it does seem to be the dog bathing that's doing some of this... its bending.... I am not so good at bending over now a days.

I took Gimps in when he was 12 and he has to be 16 I guess as I have had him 4 years but he has never been an easy dog..... Will have to really thin about this one eh?

Alba is now eating creep feed so the bottles can be less :D She wont be weaned for another r4 to 5 months but as it become less of her only feed it does mean less night bottles and also not such early morning starts to get her fed again. Bless her she is such a sweet little girl and I was feeding her next to Wish today and .... she had enough and pushed the bottle away in the direction of Wish... who promptly grabbed the teat and regressed back to being a lamb again :lol:

I did mutter to her that I will not be bottle feeding a 12 year any time soon  but it was funny.

Hey Rose you will need a very big bottle for that girl eh?!:lol: Toni's kids have been bottle feeding baby Eliies so maybe that's the size bottle we need for Wish

Jane we could go down the beach for the picnic, the employers have members who love gong in the sea.... Legs suddenly your quiet pocket will be full when there a few wet shaking sea water dogs in the others

Thanks Fols your really have helped and the rest of you all are incredible and have yet again chucked me a life belt and got my feet back on the ground... for now...

Oh before I forget DD for you she still has those big ears.... even if she doesn't know which way to put them

    http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/DSC03882.jpg

I haven't felt sick tonight but I haven;t taken the oxy's either.... pain wins tonight but the numbness is internal in the spine to a point .... the neck as well..... tis all a bit scary and just maybe there are some results from the MRI now though I would doubt it as last time the results took 16 weeks to come through and I am not joking......

Right I will go and get the employers best behavoiur dusted off though you lot have to sit on them I think...

Oh Sticky.... 4 lodgers are back, only Flo, Primmy, Blossom and Ivy but Olny has foaled a filly but Mule has slipped again... thankfully not here! Owns is meant to be coming any day now and though I might have a name for the foal we may have to come up with a couple more if the one I have doesn't suit her... so yep... back on the shed roof you go flower and haz has warmed the bed... and eaten some of it... and I going to shut up now....

Thank you all again and hope you all get a good night. Love and ((((( ))))) with tea of course  Cris xxx

    Hi Cris,

Hope all goes well today, will be thinking of you. I may not be on here for a couple of days because I'm going to visit some friends in the midlands but will check in as soon as I come back to see how you are.

I'll be in your pocket today and if any of your lovely animals are there I could bring my horse "mully" along to keep them in order. Good luck, really hope it goes well.

Ummmmm bit of a waste of time really....

The mri results are on screen and do show nerves being compressed but not the chord so I was told it wasn't important.... Guess that depends on if its your nerves being compressed really....

She said that the back couldn't be interfering with the bladder but I know it does coincide with the back being bad and the less I have activated it the less it plays up ....

Then she said the pins and needles also couldn't be the back.... and I thought ... really.... looked it up on the net and guess what!

Its not the bad compression of the chord cause no but the nerves that are shown to be being compressed and where're they are can ....

So nothing has changed or likely too if the rumo's letter is anything to go on.

No mention of any conference just a he will talk to the pain doc about management (what she is already doing then!) depending on the results of the mri.

No mention of the ot's and no contraption.

I have had it up to here to be honest but tis only pain and pain doesn't mean anything does it? Oh moderate to server arthritis... yep knew that...

but she is going to send me for a knee x-ray so that's something isn't it... the results no doubt will not be important!

So that's my news and its like a friend of mine aid he (the rumo) has taken back all control but doing nothing yet again..... I see him in July and will between now and then get a Dictaphone cus either he is missing out a lot or my ears are adding a lot in and i know which I think....

Oh another 'not worth getting a surgical opinion on' thing again.....

Thats good mind is there is no chord pressure just this never pressure as the nerves are being compacted by debris of bone and discs..... but that an't paralyse me beyond the tempery stuff I already get and at least that's something I can remember when it next happens ..... I said to her how ever tempery its still scary but as she said at least it wont become permanent ( I amuse the pain that makes it happen will always back down and might get less the more compacted and sop less able to feel the nerves get? Does anyone know the answer to that one please?)

She is also going to see what we can do re the anti-emetics... she will be looking to take the stemiltil off me though as i have been on them so long.. well yes they work for the vertigo and I have had that for over 16 years cus of the neck.

She said she would give me something else for the vertigo but see the endless attacks I used to have as the future and just feel even more worried as that wasn't life then and wont be now either.....

All in all I have had better appointments but get this despite the mri showing nerves being compacted its still going to be called normal as there is no chord pressure! Its the nerve roots that are being squashed

Thanks to you all and sorry i am so late. I got side tracked into being on the net trying to find out what makes the saddle area get pins and needles other than chord pressure and guess what its nerves root damage in the area mine are!

Funny the gp didn't think about that one but she is a gp and they are not always well read up on all the bits that can go wrong eh?!

You all take care and many, many thanks for just being there cus I do feel its not ever taken very seriously by the doctors and def not by the rumo...... Cris xxx

    Oh Cris,
I'm so sorry you didn't get the answers you needed at your appointment. You say you're not seeing Rheumy till July - is there a rheumatology specialist nurse at your local hospital that you could call for a talk about all of these things. They may be able to give you some advice, support or even bring your rheumatology appointment forward for you.

I hope you manage to get some rest over the next few days. Will be thinking of you

    Hi my love
Not sure if that is good news are what....I bet that we on here could do a much better job than they can...now there is a thought...shall we all apply for jobs..if they had the pain that Arthur brings and listen to us then it would make for a better NHS
    Who needs university Eh
Right Cris back to you, I am hoping that things stabilise for you..and help come from somewhere...

hi hon it sounds a total cop out to me why spend money doing tests if they not going to do anything with what they find. i just do not understand where they are coming from. it does make one wish it on them just so they can see how it affects people it totally affects your whole life not part of it so leaving ((())) as can not think of any thing else that could help val

I'm so sorry you found it a waste of time, skezier. There never seems to be much joy coming out of that place for you.

I agree with Clare, it is good that the cord isn't damaged but I guess that doesn't help with all the rubbish that is damaged. Can you ask to see an OT yourself and try for the back contraption? I know all these setbacks are very disheartening but it looks like you're going to have to fight for all you can get.

I am sending my friend in the bear costume back with a tea urn strapped to his back and, if he tells you there were no biscuits tell him to look you in the eye and say it again.
