Hey Elizabeth i thought someone might ask that but i would have to give away my real name if i told you.
i take it most of you use a sudername on the Forum, Not that anyone would know me anyway, I thank you for the nice coments to me me life seems just like anyone elses. When i think back i wish different things for myself. I wish i would have been home more with the family Time is the greatest thing you can give to another person. I think if you googled most of us you would get some information. Seriousley i was mistaken for a pop star from the 60s at a club i worked in so i pretended to the person that he was right but not to tell people. Within hours everybody in the club thought i was that person and using a sudername. I used to walk around singing the songs that this guy used to sing LMAO and they all believed i was him untill one day in a drunken state i told them the truth but then came out with the metal plate in my head so mobiles where not allowed in the club and they fell for that one to.

You have got me thinking now Colin.....who did you get mistaken for,,,,,but it is a serious honour to have a song written about you even if it was poor Eleanor Rigby!

    Thought of another one;

I was friends with Adam Perry -the guy in the famous black and white poster of a bare chested man holding a tiny baby. I have a lovely photo of him sitting on the back of a Scooter in Brighton before the poster was made. He was a ladies man even then.

another good one E.. The envy of many a lady now lol..

I was the victim of an attempted mugging on my own doorstep a few yrs ago..
I ended up with fourteen butterfly stitches in my arm and a lovely fine scar down my face...
All he got from me was a kick up the ar$e... It's a good job he ran when he did cos within ten minutes there was a van full of rather menacing friends looking for him.
    Never did find him

I have a scar the shape of a spider on the inside of my left thigh. I fell onto a broken milk bottle, was rather gorey.. I loved it lol...

I love the feeling of stitches being removed :?

I've been kissed on the cheek by Claire Grogan from Altered Image and also Hazel O'Connor. Was at the time when they were in the charts.
I was also sworn at by Richard Whitely... :o
And once chased through the estate by DJ James Whale, but I'm not telling you why.. Lol

And the biscuit goes to.... Amet1 lol
    Worzels indeed..

    Another from me..

My Dad (birth parent) was good friends with Dave & Marriane Dalmour, the folk singers from the sixties I believe..
When Dave died a couple of yrs ago I think now, I went to the funeral on my late Father's behalf.. Sir Jim of fix-it Saville was there as he and Dave were very best of pals.. He was in a black shell suit with a bright red string vest underneath.. Lol
It was a rather surreal funeral, Sir Jim stood up and said a few words, he was distraught about his friend...
I always thought that Marriane was such a beautiful woman when I was a kid, Dad used to take us to their house every now and then.

I am sure that Dad had all their records but no idea where they went

I am enjoying this thread more and more each day lol.

Fowls.. It's a pity my mates dint catch him, he would have been very very sorry... I grew up in a tough area and am good friends with a lot of the local thugs
I hasten to add, that I am not one of them, that would be far too uncouth  However, if they had have caught him I would have gladly got some payback.. I had to have my tattoo redone on my arm as the scar cut straight through the original one

Yeah but well done to your hubby Fowls, England youth team is a great achievement, not sure about the bumhole southern team though lol

I was given a bunch of flowers and a kiss on the cheek off Bernie Slaven when he presented my son's football team their trophies.
I live in a town where famous football players live or have lived, including Gary Pallister, Steve McLaren, Juninho, Curtis Fleming, Paul Casgoine and Brian Robson.
Malcolm Allison was often seen sitting in a restaurant window having a drink. Prince Harry has been to the nightclub in our High Street about a 10 minute walk away. The football players are always in there.
Keith Lamb's son played in the same team as my son.
Pam Royle, the newsreader lives here.
Vic Reeves and his wife have often been seen here.

Remembered last night that my friends and I bumped into Edwin Starr in a Happy Little Chef Eater back in 83. We'd been to see him at Great Yarmouth Scooter rally and was stopping off for a fried egg sandwich and a large cuppa and lo and behold there was Edwin Starr and his manager sitting at another table.

We were able to get his autograph, he signed my patch and my mates converse trainers.

Lovely man, RIP Mr Charles Hatcher.
