Legs, I don't normally do 'bovvered' on stuff like this, but ye gods, this is very stressful. Your poor girl, boy, babe and the prospective grandparents on both sides. I sincerely hope that all is well. ((())) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

More positive vibes and a couple of these for you, Legs (())If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Ah Sticky I think I've let myself get too excited about all this, what if it should end badly? Maybe we've looked forward to it too much.
I know all the platitudes that she's in the right place but they both must be exhausted by now.
Sorry don't mean to be down and I don't expect you to answer, just airing my thoughts.
Hubby's gone upstairs to clear up the mess he's made decorating and I'm playing mindless computer games, we're just trying not to think about it now.Love, Legs x

Well, I'm answering anyway because I can imagine how I'd feel in your situation. If it's any help, my 3 yr old grandson started off on his own initiative but decided to have a kip halfway so, in the end, they did a caesarian. Both were fine.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you for that it's reassuring.Love, Legs x

Linda, we never stop worrying about our children, no matter how old they are. I guess it's the same with grand children. This will all be worth it in the end.
All the best,
Numpty0 -
Thanks Numpty and Lynn,
Mr Legs has suggested we watch a bit of TV before bed so I shall go and sit with him on the settee with the phone between us.
It will be such a long night.
See you in the morning.

I know the pethidine can slow the contractions right down as it happened to me. I had no strength to push and the contractions were weak so had to wait for it to wear off.
Hope all is well.
