Great news about Lexi Joan It is wonderful news about the lad yes! We are so pleased.
cate thank you she is gorgeous!! Years ago my eyes were that blue too so they must fade over time  She looks so well now
She tried on her prom dress last week and it looks lovely now- no bones to be seen everywhere
Barbara I am hoping that the epilepsy isn't going to be a problem much after chemo as it wasn't before...if you know what I mean.
Anyone would have sedation wouldn't they if the could having chemo in the spine!!
Love to you all and I hope you have decent weather

I've finally caught up, it's been rough here what with one thing and another.
What lovely pictures and well done to all of you for seizing the days and getting on with life as it should be lived! You all thoroughly deserved that break and I hope it's done you all the power of good. The pool looks idyllic and as for the barnet - crikey!
Right, off to cook but luckily nothing too difficult: two pizzas. Bliss. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

Just popping in to say hello again.
Hello.
'ByeIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Great to hear Lucy has put weight on and looks lovely in her dress. xxChristine0

Phew! Glad she had sedation. I'm sorry to read about the poor lad being so unwell but it is good news he is able to walk again.
Good luck with reducing the meds and hope it doesn't cause Lucy any problems. Will she need to be off all meds before she can start driving? Mind you the insurance for young people is off putting, almost as much as a 2nd hand car!
I agree they are lovely photo's Cate.

Hello everyone sorry for the tardy reply
Lucy has a mouth infection ATM being treated with antibiotics so far keeping OUT of hospital.
I was nearly in tears at the thought of another night there
Elizabeth you can drive after one year seizure free with or without medication, BUT if anyone goes unconscious at the wheel they are banned for 2 years I think. So best thing is to lower meds before starting we think???
Too right insurance is ridiculous for young people
Thank you Christine and Stickywicket for popping by
Joan all is well here - no rain yet
DD - Lucy's hair has really grown hasn't it? The pool WAS idyllic....sigh.....
:splash:
there's always next year
Love

Joan and Christine thank you the antibiotics seem to be working - I'm so relieved because I was worried the leukaemia was coming back as she went off her food and had a sort of 'sheen' to her skin.
Much better now
I hope you have a good weekend and the rain goes
Love

Phew! I'm glad the antibios are working. They can put anyone off their food but, when other factors are involved, that must be very worrying. I hope she continues to improve. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
