Thanks Joan and Barbara
I am very very proud of her indeed! and I promise once she is settled and in the swing of things I will look for some rest for me Barbara!
Chemo tomorrow (Monday is as usual hairdresser's day off!!) so Dr Tim said she can have it. Hopefully no need for clinic Tuesday then as she needs to be in.
Lovely sunny day here
got to take tia back to University Sad me0 -
I think we all must be feeling proud of Lucy for what she has achieved. We'll soon be queuing up to get our hair done. Hope all goes well with the chemo on Monday. It is a bit sad that Tia is going back now but she'll be back again soon. Hope your back and ankle ease up. xxChristine0

Thank you Christine Things eased a little over the weekend for me and Lucy too because her shoulder was sore over the as she wasn't used to using it!!!
It's all arms in the air isn't it?
Joan Tia will come home in about 3 weeks knowing her, but we'll know more when she gets her timetable
Barbara fingers crossed college are being helpful. Chemo went ok as usual Lucy made no fuss.
Luckily she's not in until the afternoon tomorrow.
I am going to shop at the big A*DA in Stafford while she's in
Love

No wonder Lucy's shoulder was sore. That's a lot of exercise if someone hasn't been building up. Well done, Lucy, for coping with it all! I love your casual "Chemo went ok as usual Lucy made no fuss." I remember chemo. I suppose one can get used to anything given time and a lack of alternatives but, even so, she's a bit special is that lass.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Joan and Stickywicket
She does rather take the chemo in her stride though
Tonight she takes her MTX and tomorrow she'll get up as though nothing is any different bless her.
Today is her favourite day - practical all morning.
The journey in is taking us an hour ATM (11miles!) due to road works with 4 way lights
By the time I've got home I have to leave to go back!!!
I don't know whether I mentioned but I've ordered her a new 'head' as well as a tripod stand so she can do more practise at home on days she's not in to strengthen up her shoulder.
Love

Hadn't thought about keeping your arms in the air while hairdressing. Yes, I can see why Lucy's shoulder was sore. Hope it wasn't too bad after today's practical. An hour each way? Hope they hurry up with the road works.Christine0

Lucy is one determined young lady..you go Lucy ..hairdresser to the stars.. xxLove

So glad Lucy is settled at College and enjoying it. And hope you (Toni) are getting more you time now. Sending my (())'s to you both.0

Glad things are going well and hope the traffic situation is not for too much longer, an hour for 11 miles is horrendous - and if you're like me all the reds are red for you and green for the next person. The head & tripod should pay dividends in helping build Lucy up in the right places, can do just the right amount of little & often that you can't easily stop/start in practice.
You must all miss Tia but sounds like it may not be too long a gap.

Thank you Joan, Bubbadog, Christine, Barbara and Toady
Everything is going really well!!
the 'head' arrived and stand. Lucy has christened her 'Barbara' of all names!! Nothing to do with me, but Barbara is really naughty!.
This morning she was waiting outside my bedroom door to scare me!!
Lucy has been much stronger this week .
She didn't fall asleep in the car until Friday last week it was Wednesday so much stronger.
Arms still a little sore by the end of the week and some cramp in her leg, but hardly complains at all.
On Wednesday next week she has to take a victim in to wash and blow-dry their hair. 3 guesses who?
Sadly the rotten journey will be with me until NOVEMBER so the sign says
and to make things even better - the sun is shining :sun:
love
