    Thanks everyone else for your kind thoughts and of course DD for updating this thread.

    The McDonalds went down a TREAT!!!! The lass whose Dad fetched it will be a friend of Lucy's for life I am certain and the parents of us.

    Today I woke early, but have lots to do. Replenishing the 'grab-bag' etc. Lucy is having a friend over for a couple of hours and I will probably go back to sleep :lol:

    Life is exhausting!!!

    Hi Toni. Good to see you. It must be very tiring for you so I hope you are managing to take time for yourself now and again. I'm sure Lucy will enjoy having her friend round. It will be a good opportunity for you to have a nap. Love and hugs back at you.

    Is that a promise? We'll hold you to it :wink: I'm sure you could do no better, for Lucy and yourself, than to grab a couple of hours shuteye. My love to both of you.

    Toni, I'm so delighted that Lucy is taking positive steps on the road to recovery. What a relief that must be for you all. I know it's a long journey ahead - but you will get there. Keep strong and keep fighting :)

    A quick update: Lucy had a rough day yesterday with the chemo but today's went much better. She was home nice and early, is bathed and in her nightie, watching films with big sis. :) DD
