    Sorry I'm late. Happy birthday to Charley. Hope you all got a bit of the lovely sunshine and enjoyed the pizza. We had KFC for my birthday so was also relieved not to be cooking :D

    Oh Wow!!!

    Thank you all for such lovely Birthday wishes for Charley (Elizabeth KFC sounded fabulous too), she is really touched and so am I because the others matter very much too :?

    Lucy is doing very well as usual somehow she keeps on going stoically as she does. She had chemo again today and has tomorrow OFF :) Then platelets on Thursday can't remember Friday though :oops:

    Thank you again all of you for thinking of us.

    It STILL makes me well-up :oops:

    Hi Toni. That's wonderful to hear that Lucy is doing so well. Bet she looks forward to her days off. It must be a very busy time for you all so no wonder you can't remember all the appointments. Hope you are taking care of yourself too.

    Good Morning my friends :D

    A whole weekend off for Lucy!! Of course so long as nothing goes wrong - she is currently neutropenic, (no neutrophils to speak of), so can't go out in public as the risk of infection is too great :(

    She had platelets on Monday and Thursday and the chemo which injured her liver again on Friday, (scary, but very necessary), the other days only blood tests. Haematology is very complicated I think :shock: Intrathecal was postponed on Friday as the scary chemo is considered priority.

    Back in Monday for More bloods and platelets :roll:

    Thank you all very much for your support and good wishes, including those from overseas!

    Its always good to hear from you, yes its all complicated..good job they all know what they are doing....its must beso good to be in your own home and stay put for a while...Lucy will really appreciate it when she can go about with her friends and it will come..many positive hugs for all of you (((())))xx
