    Thank you all for continuing to post on here (and of course to DD for updating the thread) to support myself and Lucy. I really can't thank you enough - it does help to know so many lovely caring people are rooting for us. Thank you for the prayers, kind wishes, kitties and those of you who know and remembered the rest of my family.

    I remain in shock and a bit disbelieving - l think l will accept it when I can get home and think properly. I took Lucy to hospital to complain her new epilepsy meds were mucking her about and ended up here. Do not pass Go or collect £200!!

    Today is a quiet day again - Lucy is eating well and gaining strength ready for chemo to re-start later this week.

    Then she'll be so poorly just dealing with the consequences of that. I know too much about cancer in such a short time.

    It's a learning curve I wish we weren't on.

    Right I will stop whinging and thank you all once again.

    You are the last person that whinges......so if you feel like it go ahead. You have a right to it and we are hear to listen.
    Glad Lucy is OK and eating. {and putting the slap on :lol: }
    Let us know how it goes later in the week when the chemo starts again

    It's good that Lucy is feeling not too bad. I'm not surprised you are still in shock. Hopefully, the chemo won't make her feel too poorly. As for whinging, it's not something you usually do so whinge away. We are all here for you. Hugs and positive vibes.

    Thank you everyone again.

    Today has been mixed so far.

    Started off well with a cooked brekkie ;)

    Then ward round to establish we are on day 14 of potentially 30 :shock:

    Not over half way as I had been hoping :(

    Lucy has seen the psychologist and we have chatted to some lovely people on here parents and young people.

    Barbara Cris sent Lucy a bucket of cold water to top up her bath this morning :lol:

    My poor big girl is poorly at home with a temperature so I can't see her. That IS VERY hard :( Sniff :cry:

    Awww Toni you are having a hard time {as well as Lucy

    Charlie not well and you can't be with her ....that is so hard for a mother.
    As for Chris......bless her.....send her my love the next time you talk to her.
