Thank you Joan :D You have a good weekend too!

Lucy was hypnotised today to try to ditch the needle-phobia - I have no idea whether it will work, but anything is worth a try.

She came home very chilled ;)

    Love

Needle phobic? Yet she's undergone so many? That young lady never fails to take my breath away.

Aw Joan - Lucy feels sorry for you!!! Horrible thing aren't they? BUT necessary and life-saving too

Yes Stickywicket a TOTAL needle-phobe bless her heart.

this has all been torture for her.

Chemo tomorrow and clinic. Collecting cure leukaemia goodies for 'do' and getting Lucy's anti-sickness increased back up (she was proper sick last night bless her)

    Love to you all

Should be ok with sickness Dr Tim upped the ondansetron back up.

Chemo went fine - in fact we had a good laugh as we do. Regulars also on maintenance are in on the same day as us. The lad who's hip needs replacing due to the dexamethasone (hope that doesn't happen to Lucy) and his Mum.

Today I am intending to complete the press release for the 'Do' :)

    Love

It's good that you and Lucy can laugh during her chemo. Such a shame that some of the meds can cause side effects like that. Hope you got the press release finished. xx

Thank you Joan :ebasket: You have a great Easter too!

Happy Easter to you all too

Thanks Barbara - yes sickness under control now - phew!!

Christine and Barbara - The lad can't have his hip replaced until all chemo is finished - Early next year I hope.

The steroid they take dexamethasone - about 6xs as strong as our prednisolone so not surprising, but steroids do help chemo zap leukaemia cells so fair enough:)

    Love

Hello my lovelies, yet again the courage of your girl takes my breath away - as does yours. I apologise for not being in touch but it's been one of those weeks - no excuse I know but that's the truth.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter without too much chocolate piggery. DD ((( ))) xxx

    Gosh thank you everyone :)

Lucy is now very well thank you all. So well in fact that she went out WITHOUT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! She and Paul went to Coventry car racing and had a 4 course meal in one of the boxes (nice and warm). I went up to Stoke to see some friends and collect yet more charity donations :) Also had a rather lovely veggie curry to boot! First proper night out for me in 15 months!!!

She had her 2nd hypnotherapy session yesterday too and is having just one more before her next IV chemo on 28th. She fully intends to have the blood test and chemo done without the use of her hickman line :bunnye:

Can I wish you all a very Happy Easter from us lot here
