    Glad to see funds are still trickling in nicely, isn't that nice about the t-shirt. :)

    Hope Lucy can get her sleeping pattern sorted, there's a little app you can get to adjust the light from certain phones & pads etc (it's the 'blue' light from screens that keeps you awake), if you search "is your computer keeping you up late" it should be the first result up - four letters with a light-related name. You may have heard of it but just thought I'd mention.

    Hope you are all getting some warmth & sun. :D

    Hello everyone ;)

    We have been loving the weather thanks Barbara - Lucy has been up and about more and feeling very well :)

    Today she has her last session of hypnosis before her chemo on Tuesday which she wants to have through a cannula - eeek!!!

    It's also Tia's birthday (Step-daughter) who is now 20!!! Paul is feeling grown-up now ;)

    Fund-raising total now stands at £5,378.55p without the contents of the Cure Leukaemia tins.

    I had something else to tell you, but I've forgotten it!!

    OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's important!

    Lucy wants Paul to adopt her (those of you who saw her father's behaviour on facebook last weekend will understand) and so we will be off to a solicitor soon for advice :)

    Hello Toni..so happy to hear that Lucy is well and you are both enjoying the lovely weather...or were its raining here today..Happy Birthday to Tia..so Paul feels all drown up... :lol: bless..and when they turn 40 like mine you feel old... :lol:
    So sorry Lucy has had trouble off her dad..what a blinking shame , but it says so much for Paul that she want him to adopt her..you have a good one there.. :D I hope that all goes well on Tuesday ..will be thinking about both of you..now take care of yourself..xx

    Good morning my lovely, I hope all is well - it sounds to be so that is a very good thing. :D

    Firstly, many congratulations on the steadily-rising-but-probably-nearly-there total, what a fantastic effort by you and your girl. You both should be highly commended for tackling such an event and carrying it off with such style.

    Secondly, what lovely news about Lucy and Paul, I take it the wish is mutual? :wink: As you know I don't TwitBook but I do know, from what you have told us, that Paul has been both a better and proper father to Lucy over the past sixteen months than her natural one. This sounds like very good plan indeed. Happiness is! ((( ))) xxx DD

    Lovely sum raised there Toni which will help those who have recently been diagnosed and those (sadly) yet to come.

    I didn't see what happened on the facebook page but feel sad that her Dad has caused some ill feeling. This should be a time of support for Lucy.

    Happy birthday to Tia, all grown up at 20. :D I hope you all have a lovely time celebrating.

    Thanks for the update :) and good luck for Tuesday! Happy Birthday to Tia and Happy old age to Paul :? all the best for the future plans (also hope things settle between Lucy and her Dad to some point, if only for the sake of the least possible ill feeling). Fingers crossed for the hypnosis. xx

    It's great to hear that Lucy is doing so well. I didn't see what happened on FB but it sounds as if it must have upset Lucy a lot. Paul must be a brilliant dad and all grown up now. :lol: Happy birthday to Tia. Hope she's had a good day.

    She can lie in bed and recover watching the London Marathon can't she? :wink:

    Lucy and Paul have bonded yes and even Charley insist he ought to adopt Lucy. Their Dad has favourites and Charley was one. I managed to sort their relationship out (again) before the 'do', but he's naffed it up again :(

    Hypnosis went well for her and she's all set to have the cannula this Tuesday AND the blood test before it too :shock:

    Watch this space and I'll fill you in :)

    Glad Tia had a good time. Hope she enjoys a lie-in and the marathon. Her dad sounds the same as my GCs natural dad. They never want to see him and call my son dad. I don't understand why some dads behave like that.

    Good for Lucy trying the hypnosis. Just shows how strong she is. Hope all goes well on Tuesday.

    I hope that all goes well for Lucy chemo today..and the hypnotism has worked for her..she is so very brave..hugs for both Toni and Lucy its must be do hard being a mum watching your child go through this..but Lucy must feels so safe with you there Toni...(((()))) xx

    Everyone!!

    Lucy had her bloods taken via a needle and also her chemo via a cannula!!

    the hypnosis has helped her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dr Tim will take her line out when she has her Intrathecal on 8th May :)
