Hi saw a GP from a different practice 2 weeks ago as the pain in my body was intolerable, he prescribed Naproxen and Nefopam. The difference in pain was amazing within a couple of hours, so much easier, not completely gone but I felt like I could live. Ran out yesterday of Nefopam and pain began returning last night and felt like it was getting worse, saw a prescribing person who told me i shouldn't be taking that much and that with Osteoarthritis i shouldn't be having that much neuralgia thinks it could be autoimmune issue, I have had over the years since my late 20's numerous visits to Rheumatology and always told Osteoarthritis. She did give me more of the Nefopam but said that when they're finished I won't be given more. Has anyone used Nefopam with Naproxen and did it help and for how long?

Oh, what a bummer! You find something that seems to work and then it seems they won't let you be on it long-term. Can you go back to the GP who prescribed it, to discuss it further?

Your post got me intrigued as is it isn't a pain med I had heard about, so I looked it up out of interest. It has been around since 1960s. It seems that there is a move to move people off it, but that seems to be primarily because it costs more than other painkillers! It does (did) seem to be used when the more usual pain meds are not effective or are not tolerated. People can get dependent on it, but that is also true with other pain meds. Hope you get some honest clarification on why they won't keep you on it.
