Leather gloves

Hi folks, new here so hoping I am not breaking any of the guidelines with my question (I don't think I am, but the fibro fog is hitting hard today!) My mum has her heart set on a pair of leather gloves for Christmas, but she has really bad arthritis in her hands, so her knuckles are too swollen for most ladies gloves. Is there any chance anyone knows where I can find a pair with wider fingers, or do I need to convince her that knitted gloves can look just as smart? Thanks!

(Also, just to introduce myself a bit, I also have arthritis, fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility syndrome, and am a big fan of crafting to take my mind of things - looking forward to getting to know everyone)

    Hi @Mai31

    Welcome to the online community,good to see you posting.I personally have Osteoarthritis and wear mittons as gloves just dont make my hands warm i have both woollen and suede fur lined ones my favorite being the fur lined ones.

    You will find everyone friendly on the forums each having their own views on hand warmers and gloves.

    All the best with choosing .

    @Mai31

    what about leather mittens? If you put that search into Google you will see various retailers come up.

    Hope this helps🙂

    @Mai31 or even fur lined leather gloves. The fur lining should give warmth and a bit more space if you buy a size bigger than you think?

    I love leather gloves and survive on fingerless gloves at the moment with a heat pad inside (I swear by hot hands but other brands are available). One option for Mum would be some men's leather gloves? You might not get the pretty patterns and colours but the fingers would be bigger. If you bought from an online selling site that is named after a river in South America they're very good at exchanging if not the right size.
