Morning all π
Nice enough day to look at would be good if the wind died down. Better for you to have the breeze though frog it must be rather a relief much as I like the heat I know I wouldn't hold up well in it. Well someone suits his shorts π but then again he does have the legs for it ππ that view is amazing hard to think that's a real life backdrop π. I hope he has a lovely day with the birdlife and taking in the view oh and not forgetting you & Paul do too ofc π. Your salad sounds lovely even if they took a dim view of your choices πΆ as long as it's nice. Nothing planned here today can't cope with clothes shopping so yes will be digging a little further into what I already have put away unworn from no doubt as long ago as you say, or further, being a squirrel πΏοΈπ¬. If I'd had a crystal ball I'd have done even more squirrelling but never thought things would go so downhill quality and styles etc. Every generation says that I suppose but it's true, definitely not just a generational thing I swear. Take care all π xx
Wave to Joan in advance, have a good day π xx
Glad you managed town and had a restorative hot choc bosh π and 'a cold scone is better than no bread', isn't that the saying π? Wind died down by nighttime here which was better and it looks fairly overcast so will probably be cooler too. Sorry you are having an extra trying time with your dad, one would have hoped having a thing he's very bound up in like the society stuff would make him more liveable with by tying up his time & attention etc but doesn't work that way apparently π hope things are not too bad today. Will probably pop in later as well π xx
Hi Jojo glad you like coming in here and if you try some other support too that's good π I'm always sad to see people coming in (to other bits of the forum) newly diagnosed and know it's the same scary path we've mostly all been down but it's such a good place for people to see others have done well & there is light at the end of the tunnel π. Hope your day will be as good as poss :) and ankle not to bad π€xx
Wave to Stuart I am getting the kettle going again now, sorry it was 4am for you π how's the garden doing? I don't remember a worse year in mine π¬ never mind xx
Keef the computer game is along the lines of the 'fortnight' (different spelling), build up your own 'garden' from scratch all the usual elements. I don't know why it's surged in popularity when there are similar games already, the downsides are that these things get a bit silly (people trading in-game items desirable imaginary plants on eBay etc, don't ask me how that works I have no idea π€ͺ) Personally I think all stuff like this is better if you play it straight no cheats and shortcuts no hurrying everything. I suspect it's more likely to keep kids indoors playing then getting outdoors but who knows. Forgot to ask about sports day, how was it? π xx
Right, tea βπ xx

Toady (()) have a good day. When we went to the shops it was two buses each way it takes too long. I donβt like leaving pepper to long it was 5- 30 when I got home I left to go at one. How is your ankle when I sprained mine I was told it takes 6 weeks to get better.
Toni (()) enjoy your day. What is the coffee like there. Paul is good swimming there.
Jojo (()) have a good day I hope your pains not to bad.

hi again Toady, sportsday was good. It was the usual chaos that comes with lots of young children, but to praise the skool, it was incredibly well organised, and typical of their attention to detail. Especially as there was a delay due to rain. The staff there are really excellent.
SucrΓ© is not destined for great sporting achievement i feel, his future lays in motorsport (he is already crazing me for an electric motorcross bike) or music. Thanks so much for asking π
Once again one little thing typed in this forum has lifted my spirits as I feel particularly miserable today.

Hello again Joan yes 2 buses would not be my cup of tea it does add such a lot of time onto the day as you say. Even if you didn't mind being out that long you may as well spend that time on something else like coffees & sit-downs, and that's assuming there aren't any delays π£. Hope Pepper was fine and didn't seem to mind too much. My ankle is slowly improving thank you I am getting about a bit better ποΈ but I can quite see it being 6 weeks this is already about a fortnight. How are your other plants? π xx
Hope you got on ok at the optician's Jojo do you have any glasses or is it routine test health check etc. I suppose it was a sitdown anyway π¬. I hadn't been since before the covid until I had to go just recently, they look at you very reprovingly π³. Hope your day is ok & you're coping xx
You're welcome Keef π tbf Joan mentioned it and I think Toni, that's what reminded me that I forgot first time round, so there were plenty of us on the sidelines cheering on the eggs & spoons π. Is there any of that sort of thing or is it sensible sports? they probably did away with sack race etc have they, anything hazardous. Sounds like it was all v well done ποΈ used to give me the horrors I was roped into the javelin once for lurking in the corridors, me the javelin, I ask you π. Sorry about your Harleys btw, giving up beloved stuff is so so tough π my dear old bicycle will just have to quietly fossilise in my garage I couldn't part with it. Fending off pleas for electric motorcross bikes, erm good luck with that π¬ hope your day picks up a bit more as it goes :) xx
Love to everyone π xx
