    Good night toady hope you get some sleep I'm a bit anxious with my appointment tomorrow but hopefully I will sleep soon. And I've managed my day at work thanks unfortunately looks like im going to the hospital with cold still whatever it is is taking some shifting.

    Oh good luck Jojo! so sorry not to mention your appointment I'm not properly with it today 🙄 hopefully you'll be ok not to pass anything on. I hope they are happy with you and you can get enough sleep 🤞 it's not easy to wind down is it I try all sorts listening to things etc. xx

    Now Jojo do not blame yourself if your poor daughter caught the cold after all you caught it from Michael these things happen in families. Unless you are going to do COVID 2 metres and masks restrictions it's almost impossible. Hope you and she do ok today and that you are well enough for the eye hospital ((())) xxx

    Well done getting out early and walking and avoiding any dogs inhabiting Cost a packet. Today is going to be super hot I am told. Can we cope? The cold room will get some use at yours.

    I accidentally let in several flies myself leaving a door open. Rehomed all I think maybe one left inside hopefully not, but there were so many that I think I might being imagining them now! Sleek is a good bedfellow really but I would hate to disturb her accidentally so I try to keep still even if I am sweltering.

    Brilliant poem. No chance of a refund for me them I fail to meet a few of the exemption criteria🙄 They are so sneaky at Ron's. Parents must go out more often to enable your creative juices to flow. Loved the last line that we a guaranteed friendly responses here😁

    Morning Toady best laid plans don't always get laid or come off do they? Hope you can sort your meet up soon with your friend. 🤞

    I accidentally let a load of flies (maybe 7?) in leaving a door open doh!!!! But think they are all rehomed outside again now. Unfortunately cats only catch them when they are kittens or indoor cats so Sleek isn't helping much.

    Doing well keeping the place cool by shutting and opening curtains and windows carefully.

    I see an early start for you today hope everything gets done. When is rain due? I need to cut the grass in time….

    Morning frogmorton I'm feeling a good bit better this morning not sneezing that much didn't sleep well last night with the heat and feeling anxious about my hospital appointment. My daughter seems a lot better too she seems to of gotten over it quicker than me thankfully. I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day.

    Hi toady yeah I'm a lot better this morning didn't sleep well with the heat but I shall be sitting down in the hospital most of the day no doubt so I will take it easy today. I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day and you managed to get some sleep.

    My eye appointment went ok sounds like they won't be doing anything if I don't hear back then it's just my normal appointment in November.

    Yes I managed some reasonable sleep by doing my early morning flit to the cold room thanks, as the rent - dodgers may put it, but don’t worry I always pay my rent to your good self for the biccie cupboard of course - which reminds me is the rich tea biscuit famine still continuing?

    I started taking the iron liquid today that the doctor prescribed today It tasted horrible

    Stomach is feeling a bit ookey already

    But the doctor did say that if it upsets my stomach too much, I don’t have to take it, so that is good

    Ok Toni I will go for now, as ablutions And such matters are calling

    Hi all 👋 still here, still tired, still grumpy 🤪

    Thank you frog I will have to regroup to see my friend probably not anytime soon though. Unfortunately I have a list of chores obligations & not particularly fun things to do next and I pinned quite a lot on having a nice thing in between 🙄 have at least heard from them today so I know they're ok. These things are my fault for having to leave arrangements til the last min always (well not fault but you know what I mean). Blah. I was looking forward to having the advantage of blaming a bad ankle to not do anything ambitious when we meet - they'd have no idea what a nice change a temporary infirmity is - oh the obliviousness of well people that don't have to think in these peculiar ways 😉.Thanks in arrears for yesterday's post too, yes home sweet home but gosh 2000 miles is amazing 😮 and lovely to see all that, even if you were glad to see your garden too 😊 yes the dry spell has kept the grass at bay, hope doing the rounds & watering has got you up to date. Rain due here Weds, it says. Hope Paul enjoyed his racing too and everyone else is well. Fur balls all round today it seems oh dear 😬 hot weather for cats too I expect. I don't seem to have had the fly problem 🤷‍♀️ haven't noticed them much outdoors even. Ants though, absolutely everywhere. My agapanthus is nearly out and a few other 'old reliables' - I suspect the hosta has had it though 😔. I have done very well indeed for Elfie pics, more than kind thank you, he can't be available for pics all the time he has a life of his own to get on with 🤭. Very funny too the picture you painted of his little ways as a travelling companion 😄 bless him. Have a good evening, yes I was up early for stuff that didn't necessarily happen early but all done, post, groceries etc and most of all charity stuff went thank goodness, it's the 3rd time I've repacked for different charities missed collections. Gone hurrah! Hope you do not have too big a to-do list yourself, and love to all 😘 xx

    Hello Joan, ah no engineer then, yes it was a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut 😄 but hope it gets done whichever way and you are happy with everything else about the freezer. I got custard doughnuts today they are in the fridge along with anything else remotely chocolatey or likely to go warm & sticky 😬. Hope Charlie is getting on ok, take care very humid today but better soon it says 😘 xx

    Hi bosh, glad it's so far so good for your mum's bloods 👍️ sorry about your ookey iron though, is it just very strongly iron-y ie that rusty sort of taste? The one I take is ok just probably because it's a little strength. Yes at least you have a reprieve if you don't get on with it, that's good. The biccie shortage has been resolved only in so far as there are now digestives to fall back on, and 'nice' biscuits, neither are a poor man's rich tea maybe, but will tide me over. I do feel a reduction in biccie cupboard rent is only fair until properly restocked otherwise you are getting reduced amenities 😉. Glad the cold room is doing good work for you it should be a bit cooler all round soon. I have revisited yesterday's poem, I do love acts of cod 🤭 and the bit about being pallid 👻 also analogy of a guarantee ship is lovely especially with that perfect pic 👍️. That dollies dispensing machine is definitely ookey but I do love those machines so it almost doesn't matter 😬. Have a good evening hope I haven't missed anything, take care 👋 xx

    Glad you are improving Jojo that's great 😀 and your daughter too. Pleased to hear your appt was ok that's a relief especially when you've had to wait. You can concentrate on your Jul 4 one now and probably good that you got being poorly out of the way now, sort of 😬. Hope your day is ok 🤞 :) xx

    Oh dear Stuart not a good start, like I said to Toni is it the heat as well as other factors with cats maybe it's a bit much. Hope the rest of your day has been better, any sign of them sorting your mum's meds? Take care :) xx
