Afternoon all, still no sign of the workman who's coming to repair the shower.. Was looking forward to having a sit down in a steaming hot shower today too, might be the only thing to help me get moving

I will join you Joan, was hoping to be getting a nice hot shower now as the repairman has been... Sadly not, the shower is totally k-nackered!!!!
We now might have to wait till Tuesday for a new one! It is our only means of washing and we're both disabled, the thing was only put in in August.. Bloody crap.. We had to go without a shower five days then.. I hate not being able to get into a hot shower, it really helps to get me moving. Got doctors tomorrow as well.. Will have to go round to the neighbous on the cadge, :roll:

Ooops, sorry, had a bit of a rant then..

Brilliant idea Del, I could go through it on the skateboard I brought the Christmas tree back from Keilder on, not much left of the wheels like but should get me through!!

we have a cerabral p so all we have is a shower as well
you could have a go in ours but its a long way to come
you would need another when you get back.

Evening all, hope we're well tonight.. Joan, many thanks for the offer.. Ended up limping to the car and driving to the MIL's, she's only up the road and has a bungalow with wet room so I had my sit down shower, was wonderful, feel a little better for the time being..

I'm having a pint pot of tea, anyone want a drink??

There you go Joan, nice cuppa for you. It's very rare that we watch tv actually, but did watch the Sarah Beeny thing on Ch4, she's the woman who does the house renervating advice tpe shows? Well it's her and her hubby doing up a stately home with their own cash. It's in Yorkshire too, looks like it could be such a lovely place, if/when finished..

We always used to enjoy her shows before, she gave great advice to the people doing up their homes and then they'd go do the opposite and end up in a mess
I think it's great that they're trying to save what looks like a beautiful building. They're gonna try and do Weddings there.

Just a quick hello to one and all, before I take my last meds and go to rest. I am brewing a chest infection, out of nowhere, started today, so off to the Drs to see what is amiss. Finding it hard to get my breath. Typical nurse, I have already diagnosed everything from asthma to bronchitis.
Eyes burning, so I will love you and leave you, the new trolley is out and full of all sleep aids.

Oh well I will put kettle on....and get the grill warm...me thinks Cris has been in...follow the muddy foot prints....ah here she is in the embers...I wont disturb her...will put a veggie brekkie on one grill...and bacon on the other one..hope everyone managed some sleep last night...I will sit by the window with my tea...its a lovely day out there.
