Hi all 👋 still here, still tired, still grumpy 🤪

Thank you frog I will have to regroup to see my friend probably not anytime soon though. Unfortunately I have a list of chores obligations & not particularly fun things to do next and I pinned quite a lot on having a nice thing in between 🙄 have at least heard from them today so I know they're ok. These things are my fault for having to leave arrangements til the last min always (well not fault but you know what I mean). Blah. I was looking forward to having the advantage of blaming a bad ankle to not do anything ambitious when we meet - they'd have no idea what a nice change a temporary infirmity is - oh the obliviousness of well people that don't have to think in these peculiar ways 😉.Thanks in arrears for yesterday's post too, yes home sweet home but gosh 2000 miles is amazing 😮 and lovely to see all that, even if you were glad to see your garden too 😊 yes the dry spell has kept the grass at bay, hope doing the rounds & watering has got you up to date. Rain due here Weds, it says. Hope Paul enjoyed his racing too and everyone else is well. Fur balls all round today it seems oh dear 😬 hot weather for cats too I expect. I don't seem to have had the fly problem 🤷‍♀️ haven't noticed them much outdoors even. Ants though, absolutely everywhere. My agapanthus is nearly out and a few other 'old reliables' - I suspect the hosta has had it though 😔. I have done very well indeed for Elfie pics, more than kind thank you, he can't be available for pics all the time he has a life of his own to get on with 🤭. Very funny too the picture you painted of his little ways as a travelling companion 😄 bless him. Have a good evening, yes I was up early for stuff that didn't necessarily happen early but all done, post, groceries etc and most of all charity stuff went thank goodness, it's the 3rd time I've repacked for different charities missed collections. Gone hurrah! Hope you do not have too big a to-do list yourself, and love to all 😘 xx

Hello Joan, ah no engineer then, yes it was a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut 😄 but hope it gets done whichever way and you are happy with everything else about the freezer. I got custard doughnuts today they are in the fridge along with anything else remotely chocolatey or likely to go warm & sticky 😬. Hope Charlie is getting on ok, take care very humid today but better soon it says 😘 xx

Hi bosh, glad it's so far so good for your mum's bloods 👍️ sorry about your ookey iron though, is it just very strongly iron-y ie that rusty sort of taste? The one I take is ok just probably because it's a little strength. Yes at least you have a reprieve if you don't get on with it, that's good. The biccie shortage has been resolved only in so far as there are now digestives to fall back on, and 'nice' biscuits, neither are a poor man's rich tea maybe, but will tide me over. I do feel a reduction in biccie cupboard rent is only fair until properly restocked otherwise you are getting reduced amenities 😉. Glad the cold room is doing good work for you it should be a bit cooler all round soon. I have revisited yesterday's poem, I do love acts of cod 🤭 and the bit about being pallid 👻 also analogy of a guarantee ship is lovely especially with that perfect pic 👍️. Glad you are improving Jojo that's great 😀 and your daughter too. Pleased to hear your appt was ok that's a relief especially when you've had to wait. You can concentrate on your Jul 4 one now and probably good that you got being poorly out of the way now, sort of 😬. Hope your day is ok 🤞 :) xx

😣 Jojo you poor thing the last thing you need. 10 to 9 hang on! 😬 must have been a nightmare for you all. It's this one extreme day that's been the last straw maybe things might have just squeaked by. Hope not too many stroppy customers and that stuff hasn't had to be wasted 🤞. I always naively think one handy thing about supermarkets is working with the fridges when it's hot but not that simple is it ! Hope you can chill out this evening, I have been ok just in a bit of a bad mood but I managed a little hobble round the block earlier so I walked a bit of it off hopefully 😬 and the ankle was not toooo bad. I'm ok thanks I was just grouchy that a social visit didn't work out (mainly because trying to organize these things in the first place is harder than for other people, who aren't trying to work round fatigue & all that jazz), but once I've had a quick whine & felt sorry for myself that's that I get a grip & move on 😄. Can feel the temps finally going down tonight & there's a breath of air, tomorrow will be more manageable down to 26 then right down to 20 on Wed apparently. Hope we all get some sleep :) hope your pets have all been ok too in this xx
