Feeling really ill again full on cold shivering then burning up sneezing coughing and my throat feels swollen hopefully I feel better In the morning good night everyone hope you all sleep well.

Just to say night to everyone 😴 my day was ok I had a nice afternoon out so there won't be any woe is me & tales of failed arrangements tomorrow, which will be a nice change for everyone, thanks all 👍️😊.

Morning Jojo I'm glad your pain has settled back down and you will only have to do your shift at work today. Just make sure you only do your job don't overdo it. What would we do without things like those heat patches. Did you see your store sells them? In the cheap section only i think £1.50 for two. The ironing was good in a sense because now you are not worrying about it. If you hadn't you'd possibly still be in pain and have the additional anxiety that it needs doing. Take care ((())) xxx

Thanks toady I'm feeling a bit better today than yesterday but I'm feeling more tired not slept well kept feeling hot and cold and my dog desturbed me early when my husband got up for work. Hope you are well and I hope you slept well last night.

I was unable to access a draft this morning despite being able to see it on the list - the little drop down menu thing (so beloved of web developers 🙄) just takes me to the cafe page and a blank comment box 🤷‍♀️.

Hope you had a good Sunday frog 👋 yes I had a nice afternoon thank you 😊 not the same thing I was trying to arrange before but it was very nice and expunged that disappointment (and I got some 'mileage' out of the dodgy ankle 🤭) so have been able to draw a line under things and face my next lot of chores bloods & whatnots more cheerfully. Sleek & Elfie were here at the perfect time after, met me practically on the doorstep, and I was very glad indeed of the watering help, mine having been pretty sketchy 😬. Very interested to see what he has his eye on in catazon, I imagine that unlike myself he is happy to use the 'virtual try on' function so probably has a pretty good idea what will suit 😄. Sleek can of course add on anything she likes for being such a brave girl, sorry she could be heard clear across the county on her way to 'the appt' poor thing, well done both though. In an ideal world would the meds help stabilise her weight or are they mainly busy doing their key jobs so to speak? Yes monitoring drinking this weather is not that simple is it 🤔. Hope everyone else well at the moment it is not nice that Jojo feels there are 'things' out there just waiting to be picked up, one is somehow geared into thinking summer is a nice safe germ free time, not so 😔. Glad you have had no bites touch wood, I have a whopper or two on my arm 😣. No other news - I do hope we have been archived rather than jettisoned, yes, but even if so, not much help if you want to refer back 🤨.

Hello Joan that is a lovely picture thank you for posting 😀 you look very capable and at home. I have been on a horse once and fell off 😬. Hope your Sunday was good sorry you haven't had ice-cream over the hottest bit, I'm out too now til next shop - down to 19 degrees here tomorrow that's such a drop 😮 but the weather will pick up again after the thundery spell this week, well I hope it will 🤞. Do you have any appointments etc coming up as I feel I'm a bit out of tune with who has what soon, I'm sure there a few. Have a good day 😘 xx

Hi bosh hope the bloods went ok and it worked well being early 👍️ and that you had a better night than the one before. Mine wasn't that good then either but last night's was better apart from a dream where I had managed to get a couple of little marks on an item of a friend's (not a real one not sure who I cast in the role!) and kept on making it worse & worse not better, trying to wash it etc, until it was totally ruined 😣 so glad to wake up. Glad everything was ok with EF, you survived that's half the battle and hope it went as well as possible not ideal for your sis ofc but will look out for updates when you post. Hope the gastric gods were not offended by any party foods 🎂. On the subject of biscuits I have to admit that yes I would miss them more than probably any 'food group' if they disappeared 😳 but yes we do know our boundaries so that's the main thing, it is a bic here & there with me never half a packet. It is a bit weird being on page 34 today almost a bit time travelly, I wonder what the old page 34 was, also the new page 1 starts with a post of Joan's from September 2024, surely it would take more than 34 pages to get from Sept to the following July - so maybe we have been selectively coleslawed??! now there's a thought. Hi Jojo, sorry your husband is also feeling under the weather, how typical that you avoided stuff over winter, it's mean to have things going around in summer, we should be let off and get some safe spells 🙄 . I hope you cope today tiredness is hard to work through 😔 and hope you feel better by Wednesday for your appointment. I slept ok thanks it was less hot so it was a bit better xx

Joan I didn't see your post before me sorry 👋 thank you it is blowing quite strongly today it would not have been such a nice day. I have blood tests to arrange now I will have to try and miss the thundery days ⚡😬 probably can't a pud all the rain but you can't have everything. Lovely to have done the riding regularly it must become second nature 😊 take care xx

To be honest I felt sad seeing my sister

She’s always been so active, gym yoga Pilates this that

Also bill isn’t helping much

But mum tactfully said he needs to to help more, like doing more ironing etc so at least he’s agreed to do that now

But yesterday my mum helped her sort out laundry while I looked after the kids and bill watched television- typical

Poor BR was getting bored and asked his dad if he could watch cartoons on the tablet or phone and bill got really angry that his tennis - watching was being interrupted and really shouted at BR and threatened to lock him in the bathroom, then BR cried, I know I’m not a parent, but I think that was unnecessary, he’s only 4 after all

I played some kind of card game with LA and I won twice, I don’t know how I had no idea what I was doing lol,

But LA got a bit upset that mima had become unwittingly a cards - champion

So I suggested he played against Grandpa / Big Babu and BB agreed but then something else happened so LA didn’t get the chance to beat BB

Mum had bought a lovely choc cake which the birthday girl and everyone else really enjoyed thanks 🙏

It was really tiring though, but on the plus side I slept like a dog

Much cooler here outside today so I walked after nice early non - vampiric bloods - thanks

Yes full length trousers due to potential impetuous insects - good idea 👍

A Little poem, inspired by my sister’s birthday cake 🙏

Vc poem called “ the chocolate cake resplendent with ganache, holy foodstuff to nephews and presented with such panache”
It was Mummy’s birthday and a special cake was coming to town
Made of chocolate and Moonlight, but not muddy puddles, although it was also Brown
On the dark chocolate icing, the fairies would rest
Tired and anaemic after the leech got greedy at the morning blood test
A cake like this cures all the anxiety
But please eat it with China plates and gold forks, It’s not time for impropriety.
If Jane A were still alive she’d put cake in her sandwich, you know
And cake alone, not fruit, veggies or protein, makes the littleys grow and grow and grow

Ps this is the cake I got for my sister - only joking lol xx
