Hello @arthritislg There are quite a few articles on our website about fatigue. You might be particularly interested in:
There are also a lot of discussions within the community. Search for the word fatigue and you will find them all.
Personally, I suffer from the fatigue associated with RA and methotrexate. It's taken me a long time to accept it and rest. Now that I am prepared to have a rest when I need it, I am managing better. The other thing I've learnt is - don't put off til tomorrow… If I have the energy to do something I do it sooner rather than putting it off because ****'s law means I'll be too tired tomorrow 😆
Please keep posting now you are here and let us know how you are getting on.
Best wishes
Mary

Hi @arthritislg
Fatigue is one of the trickiest aspects of this disease isn't it?
When it first started with me I was working and mother to 3 children who needed me awake!
Someone here recommended I rest if my body tells me to which I have done ever since, but with the aid of an alarm in order that I don't miss important things.
In theory if our disease is under control we should be less tired, (except if we are flaring of course), the more active the disease is the more tired I feel for certain.
If it's your Methotrexate 'hangover' causing you to feel tired it's worth a chat with your medical team. If it's new less than 12 weeks you might need to bear with it though.
Hope the links the mod has sent to you helps too
Toni
