Hi all 👋 not much doing here, and more tired from doing nothing & an ok night's sleep than on other worse days, never sure how that's possible 🙄

I will attempt to bookmark any good weather for myself frog 🌞 definite nip in the air today but the sun came out by the afternoon. Thing is I don't think there should be any nip in the air in August at all, Sept if it must, not a minute before. I hope your tradespersons have been & gone and were ok. I couldn't occupy Elfie long with my own actual stock of jigsaws, all I own is one with interesting shaped bits (pic of some retro things like typewriters & 78 records & old packaging), and a little vintage one from the Queen's coronation, nice but only a handful of pieces 😄. Actually though I do have one that's been waiting to go to charity, a fiendish needle in a haystack one, literally a picture of hay, he's welcome to start that (I tried it it was awful!! 😱). You will definitely know if any of the bits end up among yours 😁. I did go ouch when I broke the toe at the time, yes, briefly - it was from tripping over some rolled back carpet - after that I think I was mainly only aware that it felt too wobbly 😬 the nurse felt it probably was broken but I never had it confirmed as such and it mended ok, sorry yours went a bit askew. Yes poor kitty will be sorry for itself, for now, but Sleek will have been firm but kindly and reassuring, I know. Hope all's well with you today and very sorry indeed to hear about your food bank volunteer, so sad 😟. Take care and love to all 😘 xx

Hello Joan glad to hear Charlie's dog is showing signs of improvement that's good, hope the blood results tell them something. Hope the 'festies' don't cause too much disturbance at least it isn't something that goes on for too long, it would be nice to think they would tidy up after themselves as well but that seems pretty much a forlorn thing to expect nowadays 🙄. 90,000+ people last year said the BBC, gosh that is many too many people for me 😬. Jojo oh well done getting your kids to the dentists, all done til next checkup hopefully, that's something ticked off 👍️. So sorry your back was especially bad 😔 and wish it eases up for you 🤞. Not doing much myself can't get up the energy for much, I did a bit of sorting out things for charity etc and recycling yesterday which seems to be never ending sometimes, one day it would be nice to have a tidy house but I'm not sure when that will be 😬. If you don't drive it's so difficult to drop bigger things off at charity shops or the tip etc, I never felt the lack of driving once but I do now and I hate asking people favours. Hope you're having a good day frog, and glad you at least got an hour in outdoors, must do likewise 👍️ now is the time to look up all those 'when to cut backs and what to do withs' that I forget every year without fail 😬. No I will not be writing my xmas cards, or buying them, or making lists, or stocking up on stamps - and then I will be sorry of course 😂. I do have some left over from last year so there may be a bit of room for manoeuvre there, whoever didn't have design A can have design B etc, I'm bound to have made a proper note 🤥. Your jigsaw does sound similar I will check the make of mine, it's somewhere in the back of beyond. If Elfie can make short work of the haystack one I will buy him something appropriate, he'll deserve it! I have been trying the new domino-based puzzle from the w*rdle people website, quite interesting. Have a very good weekend love to all especially small cats and convalescent kittens😽 xx

Hello Joan, nothing is being said about the road at all, long may it last 👍️ they did seem fairly definite that it was 'all off' but you can't go by that, they were equally definite before that they did need to do it 😂. Whatever happens it should be less inconvenient than their original dates, so we'll see. I haven't had the heating on but I can't say I wasn't tempted yesterday, a couple of days ago it was still really hot 🤷‍♀️ was colder sleeping last night for sure. Monday looks nice but I'm worried about the rain, I'm forecast some for Tues it could easily creep up into the Monday when we get nearer, hope not 🤞. I expect Brenda gets time off does she for the weekend, or in lieu maybe. Glad Charlie's dog is feeling happier, good sign 😊. have a good weekend yourself 😘 xx

Hi to bosh and hope you got some nice sleep. I had tea in the night but got back off again til the bins woke me up, it's annoying because they do some side streets first so you hear them, then don't do this one for ages later so there's no need to wake up 🙄. Hope all things gastric etc are being kind to you, and have not decided they have been kind to you long enough, like certain littleys example 😬 no I don't think anything can claim to have overdone the kindness to us in the first place! so I think we are still more than entitled to whatever they can spare 👍️. Hope the festival has got off to an ok start and your day is going as well as poss :) xx

LA is also trying to educate his younger brother, whom he gave some important advice to, “when do you start school never eat cake in the corridor”. 😂

Fish always tastes better from Mima’s plate
LA only managed to steal her broccoli- Oh, how I do commiserate!
Salmon is so tasty and high in iron and Folic
Better than C*lpol and a cure for all the colic
It silences noisy, neighbours and festival types
It fools the face and the stomach like gastric wet wipes
And if you choose the wrong fish at Wart - Rose, the refund policy is kind, there’s no doubt
And if eaten in sushi form it makes littleys cease to shout
But Unfortunately it cannot cure the blind, unlike the famous marrot
Only that fastidious LA shuns it, as it is the same shade as a carrot
