Whilst away I came across a range of skin care products supposedly good for those with eczema, psoriasis etc. I am blessed with both and don't find E45 helpful (it makes things worse) and as for Cetraben and its imitators once tried, never bought again. This is a range based on bovine goodies such as milk and cream and the…
Hey all. As some of you know over the passed day or 2 i have tried a different painkiller called Naproxen 250mg instead of the Cocodamol i was taking but really it is more a anti-imflamtory or NSAID type. I got in touch with my consultant and explained to him that they were not helping my back pain and whether he could…
Ooooh, I've invented a new word for that department, I rather like it! Yesterday was my now annual appointment at the hospital and as usual I didn't see my consultant, just a nurse. Appointments are yearly due to the ever-increasing numbers of newly-diagnosed patients and the static number of staff to deal with them. Being…

OK it's not proper physio ie not the sort of systemised workout that ensures all muscles get a good going over, but it can still give some of them a fair crack of the whip. This morning I decided to haul out my heated clothes drier which has been languishing in the utility room for months. Not to have the heating bit on –…
I was prescribed 5mg Folic acid to take two days after taking methotrexate (20mg) but since then I have been prescribed 2g a day of Sulfasalazine as well. I have read that if on Sulfasalazine you should also take Folic acid. Should I be taking more than 5mg once a week?
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. I'm 22years old w lumbar spine arthritis I have the 'usual' walking problems, balance, loss of sensitivity etc. I get these flashes of symptoms which differ, last a week and are recurring. For the past four days consecutively my Middle finger has been feeling swollen and numb. It doesn't…
