    Pixy, I have just been out with dogs, I know I should'nt but could not resist, it's very cold and dangerous underfoot, if you really, really, really have to go out be careful. :shock:

    I am the lucky one, my boss has just phoned and told me not to go into work. I have some work to do here at home, so I will have a large builders and some of that eggy bread please before I start.

    Just a couple of inches of snow at the mo, but it's coming down again and getting heavier.

    Hi Jan,

    I going south bound wouldn't even start to go north bound, they closed it last time for less :shock: Mate of mine came up from Truro for work this morning and they said except round Fraddon the south side is ok....... I really must try t anyway. Hey did they say how bad Roche was? xx

    well got to go to work soon lol think of me they let us leave early yesterday as it snowed all day this walking in the snow not helping joints at all .so think will have porage before leaving home and lemon and ginger drink

    Hi everybody, I'm working, really I am. OK, it's lunchtime - so will stop and have soup and buttered roll and a builders.......what soup we got in? Ooooh, parsnip and ginger, lovely and warming.

    We seem to be fairly lucky here today, about 4" snow so far. It hasn't stopped snowing all day, but it's been mostly that fine powdery snow which doesn't do anything very much. Every now and then we get a flurry of heavier snow. It's supposed to be really cold here tonight, so will freeze on top of this.

    Hope all you peeps are coping ok!

    The sun has come out. lovely blue sky. It's true!

    It's brightening up.

    It would be best if we had a slow thaw in the worst areas. Hope we don't get any flooding again.

    OH ran me to the chiro, but had to face the icy conditions coming home. I was frozen when I got in. Chiro said I was improving although I didn't feel that when I went to get out of bed this morning. My legs hurt quite bad now, but she said it would pass.
    Thought I would just have some soup and then get to sleep. I feel so sleepy now.

    I'm going for a nap now see you later

    HI peeps,

    any tea going? and maybe a bucket of energy? all this walking in snow takes it out of me, and I did my tai chi today too, so am having an early night in a little bit.

    Just wanted to say that I hope everyone is ok and keeping warm. I have spare blankets here for anyone who is still cold .... although you may find that littlelegs has previously used them, so no good if you are allergic to dogs :wink::wink:

    Hoping for no more snow here, but only got about 4 inches at mo. Dad has about 8 in Sheffield, with more expected, but nothing to what is on the west of the country or down south.

    Hope you all keep warm and well.

    Evenin All,

    Well I think I shall have a very hot builders and I have brought us a ton of white stew if I take a bit out you can put meat in the other bit :wink: I got eggs and cream and even a few scones..... i also got a bit of hevva if anyone would like some?

    Right I am determined to get some other things on to photobucket...... I may be some time :lol::lol::lol:

    Trish PM'd me about 6pm, just a reply to mine. I haven't seen her since, I am hoping she's sleeping, too.

    Jan, your Gem will be fine - I'm still here to tell the tale (which is a very funny one and I might tell you all sometime). It was slow though, so she might well be there for a bit - dammit, she's in the best place just at the mo!
