    Afternoon all a045.gif

Hope you all keeping warm. Spent a lovely morning bonding with my duvet and am starving now. a015.gif
Goodness knows what del was doing with his. Sorry the monitor not behaving del. Hope the cold better now.

Barbara well done on all the milking and making the cow shed. She will be fine in there and this butter on me toast is scrummy. What with all the cleaning and cooking Val and Toni have been doing I feel so lazy and sorry but am enjoying it!

Hope you enjoyed your snooze Wonky after that busy morning. Littlelegs is a smart fella. Am lovin that you had to peramble! Hope Toni and Ange do manage to get out if the thaw keeps up and that you have a good day Joan. We even have bits of green here today too :D

Sorry the eyes not so good Cris. I would lend you my glasses but think I might have left them in the breadbin, fridge, washing basket! I wonder if the tech guys on here could make it poss for us to adjust print size when typing or reading I do struggle to read sometimes and others must be the same?

Hope Nanna Jan is doing ok and avoiding her own Norty Step at the moment? Tho I heard Mellman gave you and Val a bit of short shrift earlier. Totally unjustified I might add!
    Take care peeps
    Chris

interesting about the font size - I have noticed that now I use firefox instead of IE the font appears slightly smaller ...... :? :? :?

On some of the pages on the AC site there is the AA text sixe button that if you press it the text will come up larger. I wonder if that could be added to the forum or if that would stretch the system too far?

just a thought - not technical enough to know if that would work

right, one last builders and slice of toast then I must go ... the minutes for this morning's meeting won't type themselves  k035.gif

    Hi Jan,

You treasure that really helped! Thank you a post I could see with out backing out too far :D Its optic neuritis and its something attacking the optic nerves. Its does self right but for some reason its doing both. Its not a problem outside of 3 or so yet but inside that there is so much blurr and mist (Del get this fog out please  x) that I really have problems seeing close up in very good detail. It will self right and soon hopefully. ((( ))) xx and thanks for doing that

    Hi Wonky,

Hy wouldn't it be nice if I could hire him out :lol: I hope he hasn't taught her too much but I do know he is going around telling dogs bout a star pupil up country.......... and he thinks she is suitable for a BA so be careful :lol::lol::lol:

The drip....... well not been mid lined, not rung them cus it will be easier to say cancel it over the phone than when i limp in on purple feet  There is an idea the eyes are circuation problems...... Its coming from the brain somehow being effected but it has been very cold....... I tell you what if they do do it and the eye do improve....... Do you know where I can get new blood vessels please :lol::lol: ((( ))) slurps and............. Oh More Toast with home churned butter :D:D:D xx

    Hi Chris,

    Hi Wonky and Jan

Yes please toast that del has with the butter soaking through it sounds scrummy specially now we have the cow and can make our own real butter not that awful stuff in tubs :D

Jan I'll help out and do a bit of cleaning ready for the evening guests do feel a bit guilty.
    a050.gif

Kim and Aggie would have a field day at my house, but they say dust doesn't get any thicker after 7 years so thats something!! Life is too short to worry about a bit of dust, when there are books to read, tv and films to watch and people to chat too on here.
Work of any sort just gets in the way of my having fun. Tis not fair a050.gif
Can't be up too late tonight am hoping I will make it to hydro early tomorrow as I really couldn't face the bus/long walk in the snow last week. Hope the nice young physio doesn't make me go on the Norty step? :?

Take care all, hugs to you Trish hope you can pop in later. xx I will prepare some more buckets of energy and leave 'em by the door. The kettle is on. Might just sneak a piece of cake after the toast while I am here.

    Chris

Well, that's my working week over, this week - all 6 hours of it! Even if I say so myself, I did a good job of getting out of working yesterday by making it snow again.
It's more or less all gone here now; just been dark, dismal, drizzly and dire today.

I'm ready for my builders and a large buttered scone...........are you sure you've got the hang of this butter-making? Hmmmmmm.

    Cris

Thank you. I missed all of you, my elbows have decided to lock so I don't know how long I can type for.

I suppose I could use my nose, errmm no I don't think so.

Who's cow is that? Has Mr Giles been in? I know he somrtimes takes his cows for walkies.

He took one and went in the pub for a quick one. He went home without it they found the cow on his back on the floor his little legs were all straggles he had drunk all the beer out the barrel. Never saw a cow laugh before, only on the cheese advert :D

There was such a mess to clean up.
