I have bought in a steel case with security lock for the buns and have sent Trish the code by messenger pigeon. Will leave the flask next to it.
I'll have a quiet sit-down for a mo over by the fire and finish my drinkie..........best one I've tasted all day!

Hi Barbara
I put an answer on for you earlier, but lost it when I was looking up some web sites for you.
There are some good items on 'Learning to Draw and Paint' on the internet. Also, look up to see what classes there are near you. No harm in just going along to enquire. Councils normally put out a list fairly soon but tourist information or libraries can help.
To start with, just a couple of pencils, putty rubber (get from art shop) andsome good paper and just start drawing what you see, start simple. If you can understand perspective you are half way there. Again, browse through internet.
If you then want to start painting, I would advise you not to buy the cheapest (art materials are useful birthday and christmas presents) Windsor and Newton are the best
Cheaper paints have a larger proportion of chalk in them and they fade quicker.
once you have your decent paper (Bockingfords is the best) but you can get cheaper pads of reasonable paper. I use blocks because they save the need to stretch your paper. Sheets of paper used on their own tend to buckle making it difficult to paint - this will make you want to to stop as the first opportunity.
Brushes. I have just bought some brushes for £1.99 each. They are brilliant. They are nylon bristles and clear handles but they come in all sorts of styles and make painting very interesting.
You then get a jar of water and start playing with the brushes and paints and see what they do. Practise different ways to hold the brush too. If you do want to get into it seriously,
Good luck

Hi there Jan.
I'm so glad that the security checks have gone off so quickly. You should be starting quite soon now. You must be a bit nervous though.
If you come along to the cafe first, we'll make your lunch box up for you.
cheers.

I know it sounds daft but I am quite glad that I failed looks like I need another supplement but it all seems to be linked to the PA, so I might be able to push for more frequent injections.

Thanks. I was diagnosed with Pernocious Anemia/B12 deficiency several years ago. This and the hip problems/arthritis has been grinding me down lately. Also under investigation for Chrones disease. The last 18 months have been a roller coaster.
I think the worst things are the admiting you can't do the things you used to and the fatigue. Oh and the pain.
Anyway onward and upward.0 -
I'd like my bedtime cuppa and some apple pie and cream and custard for supper.
Got Rheumy appointment and chest assessment tomorrow, not a good day and have to get up earlier than usual........which doesn't suit me.
