Cris. Really interested in rare breeds. Have you ever had gold -pencilled hamburgs? I love the black and white ones, and I nearly got some pekings once, but was told they didn't lay very well.

Ok everyone, you are all off playing games, so I am going to hit the sack. Have been on the go all day and tomorrow is another busy day, with two separate appts atthe drs.
I am going to miss my blood test this week and put it off until next Monday when I go for my ct scan.

Could I have a builders and will take it over by the fire and give Cuddles and the rottie a lap to sit on should they wish one.

I haven't got any rare breeds here, its some mates of mine that do most breeds but not sure if they have any of those types. I have to go see then tomorrow and will try and remember to ask them.

The Pekins seem to lay fine. or at least they always have hatchling and chick ones but mostly they do the banties, though they do have the chicken and maybe thats why? I will try ad find out cus I curious now Hope you had a reasonable day? Cris x

Right, one last builders and I am going to try and find that elusive sleep........I am so tired and I ache today, too. It was just too cold for me, the wind is bitter.

Hi All, just to let you know im still up to me neck with home stuff.
New back door being fitted tomorrow, Insurance arguing about the repairs to car & i think my youngest daughter may be coming to live here.
I am popping in to read through & trying to catch up but as you can understand thing here are a bit hectic.
Oh & stepson has smashed his bike up again :roll:

I know one day things will be back to normal, i just wanted to let you all know that ive not jumped ship.

well looks like im doing the breakfast shift as ive not sleep a wink worrying. Ive just layed there listen to him snoring :roll:

Right lets have a look in the fridge, oh bacon, eggs,cumberland sausages & toast i think with a large builders.
I'll just poke the fire & stick some more logs on for the early birds.
If im flat out on the sofa can someone wake me as the builders are coming at 8am, well they said between 8 & 1pm, knowing us it'll be 1pm :roll:

Right the fires poked & roaring,the tea's & coffees are all ready & breakfast is simmer ready for you. Yum, looks lovely. Oh Cris your fresh eggs are to die for

Just got my grandaughters off to school, its a mad house in the morning.......I will sit by the fire with a lovely builders and a large piece of toast with loads of butter....anybody joining me. Do hope Trish and Annie got some sleep....I have a rubber mallet here if you need it :!: :!:

Hi all.
Was up at 7. just before that, it sounded like someone was walking about in the atic. very creepy. Then sounds like someone was walking up the stairs. made sure OH was in bed,so it wasn't him. Help. I think we have ghosts. When I went downstairs, found that I had left the back door unlocked last night.

Just got back from a med check with gp, waste of time really. Asked her about my blood results and do I need to check on them each month. Answer is. No dont ring us, we'll ring you if anything is wrong. Which I what I do anyway. Why worry about it when you don't need to - then weigh in time. Only lost 1lb since last time which means lost 2 and then put some back on. It was those Ginger and coffee muffins that must have done it. I should not bake. If I bake I can't resist sampling.
Haven't done so much walking either. trying to rest my hip.
can't win. Only 1 cm less on my waist so it's all in the right direction. I must be firmer this next month. How many times do we say that. Gosh we are getting another load of snow.

Cris. Just got the impression that you had some rare breeds, doesn't take much to confuse me.

Barbara. glad g.daughter is better and back to school. I can just imagine what each mornings like for you. well done.

Annie. Sounds like you have been able to get some good sleep. They say that sleep is the best medicine for everything.

I think I deserve a builders and some sticky toffee pudding with custard and cream.........will sit over by the fire with Cuddles for half an hour.

Been busy today and its ever so cold but we haven't had snow and well I don't think its coming till Friday they say this way......... I just hope its not as bad as last month cus that drove me 'slightly' insane

I shall have a builders and 3 buckets of energy might do the trick...... did 2 bales again today and there is 2 more in the car for tomorrow...... calves are a pain and getting much friendlier and cus they get cold very odd looking with big thick coats one........

Trish I saw you had posted and really glad to see you. Got some wine gums and some fudge (boxed in Yorkshire, made near here ) and have put a special bun in your tin and here you go flower a flask as well. A ((((( ))))) to you xx

Hells Bells, it is sooo cold. Got more skins on than an onion. Shove over you two, and lets see the fire. Where`s our little Cuddlybumps then. Pretty girl.
