Hope everyone is having a reasonable day today? Went for some tests early and did the sheepsis on the way back....... still mugged by the calves but well they are less scary in daylight Except the girl...... oh she likes jumping fences and snaking up and sticking her head through the sheepsis door and mooing which would be ok if you heard her coming but she can do a good muffled sneak up and no mistake.

Left some Cornish fair for them what wants and shall grab a builders and join Annie and cuddles by the fire........ mind some bit of me might be belting the ears with the wall of sound

Hi Manxtail nice to meet you and I had a Manx and she was the nicest cat to me, not the other cats mind but she was a torte and they don't seem to mix too well usually. Cris x

I am better than I was yesterday..........so things are improving!

It's just popped into my head as I was typing, those chickens.....Arancanas? Think that's how it's spelled.

Yep thats the type, much better than Anacondas eh?! Though they do lay eggs..... and they might be green Mine is very nice cream legbar and she is quite a good one as it turns out but then my mates do it big time and very correctly...... Might be getting some of their old ones soon..... and might just do the swinging thing over some eggs and put them in their incubator (they got one huge one, all but half room :shock: ) I love the Marans though and the Golden ones do incredibly dark eggs Would you like one of hers as well x

Hi Cris - I only know a few of the chicken breeds........mostly those which make me smile..........the Cochins, and those with the mad, crazy topknots, oh and those with the feathery feet! The old forgettery is working overtime at the moment, I can't remember any of 'em!

The Leghorns are lovely, I think and yes, I'd love one of the dark eggs, don't think I've had one of those.

Those calves have got it in for you, what a cheek! I hope she didn't bite you as you were bending..........I got done by a goat once like that!

How's your weather, it's been dry here but we have a few flakes of something now.......and it's soooooo cold.......

Going to have a lie down in a min, see if I can find what I'm looking for!

Hi Annie,

Pekins are the fluffy feet ones My mates specialize in the lavender ones especially both in bantie and chicken varieties...... they really do have big fluffy feet eh?
Mine are mostly ex battery hybrids with some grey and golden marans and then Punk the legbar not leg horn Leghorns are white and Punk is basically a blue cream with a raptor style top knot Then you had Sussex ( one of mine has a bit of that but the real one I lost and she was only 9) and lastly I got a couple of black rocks and they are now the oldest at 10.

Mates who knows these things tell me since I got a maran cockerel if I hatch some of Punks eggs I should get predominantly blue egg laying ones...... If the swinging thing is right they will all be female.... time I shut up :oops: and you have a rest up and hopefully sleep. xx

I took Daisy a walk outside so she'd know her home....

Just got to catch cuddles to do the same...next week the vet might give them the all clear and then they can go out of their catflaps....

Afternoon all! I've had an hour with my feet up, but couldn't sleep....I keep getting cramp, too.

It is a bit lighter in the evenings now, that's hopeful! At the moment it just lets you see the snow for a bit longer...............it's a bit half-hearted, just a few flakes here.

Is there a builders going by any chance? I could do with one, but not an egg butty at the moment cos I've got scrambled eggs for my tea a bit later.

Jan, I've given up swinging from the chandeliers - it was getting too expensive..........I've stopped buzzing, just can't sleep, now. Oh, and the highest dose of steroids I've heard of is 80mg daily and if they every put me on that much they'd have to chain me to the bed.

Five minutes and start on the next round of chores.........

Afternoon everyone. I see we have a creche in here today. lovely and cows and of course cuddles.
Cris. you've had busy day I see. Haveyou tried talking to the cows in a different language. On our news last night, there was this dog who couldn't undertand English commands, only Polish. He's learning both languages now.

What's Annie doing swinging from the light fitting. Better get the fire brigade in. Steroids cause horrible cramps. It is not going to do your BP any good. No wonder you can't sleep.
I am going to have a cream tea I think. Those scones look nice and I expect there's loads of Marigolds Cream in the fridge. Lovely Strawberry jam too. and a large builda. My mouth is watering thinking of it.
I have spent all morning trying to sort this :!: :x itinerary with OH, wonder we aren't divorced. He gets a train of thought in his head and won't listen to commensense from me In the end I just disappeared to the bathroom and gave it the biggest clean it has seen in ages. Have been waiting for him to change the flooring in there for years now. Have the tiles but still not done. Can see me paying someone else to come anddo it. Men.

Right had me grumble. Had a visit from Benny. He's the greyhound I am doing a portrait of. Really excited. As soon as I have finished my Leopard, will start on him.
My two oils are nearly ready for the framers. I have now got two exhibitions in the pipeline One in March and another in April and then one each month until July. So I need to get some more pictures done.

Now, I must go and do my injection.

hi gang must admit feel much better today neck was playing me up this afternoon but it was only telling me i did to much this morning lol. so tea and cakes on me want to celibrate while it lasts it been months since felt this good do not want to go to bed tonight just incase wake up back to where i was lol.
