Trying to catch up on all the threads, but has left my head in a spin, so hello, hope everyone is ok.
Jan, glad you feeling better but I would like to know, how can you have 4" more snow in Rushden than we have had here. incredible. We're only 10 miles away. Most of it has melted on the roads and paths now thank goodness.

Not a lot on tv again tonight I see. It's all repeats of repeats.
looks like an evening of ironing again.

Talking about baking, I now fancy a syrup sponge pudding with custard, lots of it. Have we got any? That lemon drizzle sounds good, my favourite.

Hi Cris. Yes, I went back to bed this morning and woke up looking like this.

I see it's snowing again. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get the Northern Lights at this rate. Perhaps the world has been knocked off course and we are now where Greenland used to be. It will probably be May before this snow stops. Hope someone comes an digs us out of the snow. Could start a new business, the New Ice Hotel of Northamptonshire.

Oh Joy tis an endless winter eh? It will stop...... I have asked it nicely but well we lost our snow and except for repeated hail ........ Its so cold though. Bed..... now I do have some recollection what that is...... I have been dong a sleep deprivation thing the last week or so for some reason..... Did you get the ski's back from marigold? Chris, I do it all the time, it's the power of the yak butter scones; and that hat was a perfectly good hat.......a yak wool one would be warmer now I come to think of it.............

I have an Alpaka coat that is nice and warm in this weather.

Very nice it it is.


the wool comes from an Alpaca, really nice wool.
