    Been a rough week week at work, long hours and having to fight my corner. Going for a facial and a back treatment tomorrow really looking forward to it, need to relax.

    Was back seeing the surgeon on Wednesday, not good news but not bad news.

    Yes still eating the chocolate.

    Think I was expecting a miracle cure at the appointment but i need more surgery it's now a matter of timing.

    Allan is ok, bit stir crazy being in the house though.

    I am love and I too will be going to bed after another cup of T and maybe a bit of chocolate. I am done in, from tip to toe. No, I am not pottering, impossible at the moment, I am officially unpotterable now. Meds all kicking in, so time for me to try and get some rest.     There's no one around hope its ok to help myself to a lovely mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows = a hug in a mug. These sleepless nights are wearing me down :cry::cry::wink:

    I am not sure I can risk a sale today...... I hate the crohn's and don't understand why the mtx had it and now its escaped! Doing a dummy spit over this now :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    wish i could do it for you i work in nice warm shop with toilets close by lol so will be ok for today it is just so quiet on saturdays . fingers are crossed all goes well and you get the sale out of the way good luck

    Coming back from Nuneaton y'day, the countryside was glorious, all the blossoms are out together with the trees in their different shades. I love the spring. Once summer comes, it's just a mass of green and the shadows are difficult.

    Jan Wouldn't it be such a relief for you (and ME!) to do a 4hr day? Trouble is I can't afford to do anything less than me 30hrs cos me hourly rate is so low. :roll: Hope you do find something less hard on ya bones soonish.

    Hi to anyone around, I have sneaked in for a quick brew, too.

    Just time for a rest and a cuppa before lunch.........isn't it a wonderful day? I feel much more like myself now and hope that I can stay that way. Not sure if it is the painkillers and other meds kicking in, the sheer relief at being home, the lovely weather or a combination of all those making me feel so positive today.

    Ah, well, will go for a little potter outside and then see what we've got for lunch.

    Hope you are all having lovely days and are able to enjoy the weather.

    Hey there toni. hope you managed to get out today. I dressed a skirt and t'shirt this morning, but then I got this terrible spasm right across my back so I had to change back into jeans and long sleevedtop. Didn't warm up until 1 ish.

    Afternoon everyone.

    Well, haven't managed to get back to my painting today. Just cannot seem to concentrate on it at the minute. Hopefully next week. Went to Mears Ashby, which is near Wellingborough, Northants to see the exhibition that I have some pictures in. Saw some beautiful glassware and not expensive. Was thinking of Christmas presents would you believe. Then said no. need to reserve my money ready for Norway. Would like to sell some pictures to help with resourses too. I'm driving myself around again and it is making my hands very painful again. I cannot drive very well with the soft supports nor the splints.
    Bubbles or Julie, you were saying you had knobbly bits sticking out on your fingers. Mine are now sticking up across my knuckles and finger nails like big red spots. and very swollen fingers. I've seen them worse on my nan and mother years ago though.

    Just have to geton with it don't you.

    Hi all, Joy I have trouble driving now can only manage short distances now.
    My wardrobes and drawers are up and now need to put all the cr*p from my sons room back into mine :roll:

    Afternoon to all in right now!

    I have just crept in for a large cuppa T and some cheese and biscuits (wonder why I feel like having cheese and biscuits?).

    I will take it outside and sit out there in the evening sun - it's been so beautiful all day and I am so enjoying it.

    I have enjoyed all of today, from the pottering round, to the bimbling down the road for a little walk by the river, to the many tea breaks I have had (can't remember the last time I was waited on quite so much).

    Hope everyone is enjoying the day and that everyone's pain is less than it was.
