    Mother used to have the Rington's man come to the door with his basket, she could never say "no, not this week thanks", so she ended up with more T than China. :shock: I think she hid from him in the end and he doesn't go any more.

    Oh said is going to trim back the fushias, I might strim a bit, but then again, I will see, maybe I will just make T and supervise. The thoughts of wafting the strimmer about fill me with dread at the moment. g010.gif

    It's been raining overnight here so Bubbles and Julie that gets you out of strimming for today.....


    but hopefully it will pick up and you can do some sunbathing later with plenty o cups of tea :D

    MummyB I hope you got back off to sleep ok?

    Well i shall go and do a bit of washing up - It's my step daughter's birthday today.....

    I think I am awake d015.gif or at least I will be in a while. Grass is indeed wet, so I have no intention of wafting the strimmer. I doubt I could manage it anyway. I have a065.gif the cafe floors, will potter some more soon.
    Very misty in the valley, quite humid, looks like it could rain again. I will sit and drink my decaf and see what the papers are gossiping about.

    table cloths are in the a015.gif new ones are a030.gif and back on the tables. All the pots are done e010.gif and the breakfast is ready d030.gif I have done some porridge with maple syrup. Bacon in the oven and fresh rolls warmed, ready for buttering.

    I do try, not that I always feel like it, I could happily go back to bed in an instant, but, I have it in my mind that if I stop, then I will never get going again, so I keep pottering. I think the sun is trying to come out.

    Hi Julie, yes, we do, looking out over Pendle Hill, which is now in view, the mist has gone. Was on my perch in the kitchen, should be known as Polly if I have a perch r030.gif just going to have sandwiches and watch tv a minute or two. g105.gif Hope you are having a better day, with less pain.

    Rain, all night and most of today, poor Primrose wasn't too impressed and seemed to think we should dry her grass so she could lie down! She ain't half grown and what a difference a week makes......

    We've had a bit of rain here this morning, but really the plants could do with it, it'll save hubby watering them again tonight.

    Has anyone heard anything from Trish? I haven't since late on Friday and I'm getting a little worried now.
