    Trish, the very thing I needed, not long woken up and dry as the Sahara. Thanks ever so much.

    I suddenly have a longing for a very jammy doughnut..........will go and riffle in the tin!

    just popping in for something to keep me awake for the journey and a pack up for 3 not paying airport prices :lol: :roll:

    We've just had a sprinkle of rain, but nothing to speak of.........I wouldn't mind a bit more tonight.

    Far as I can see, it's supposed to stay warm.

    I will have a coffee and a bucket of energy that might help the head go away. Perhaps a sticky bun with a cherry on the top will help as well.

    Would some kind soul make me an egg and tomato buttie, and a huge builders. I`m knackered, but satisfied, having got all the upstairs rooms ready for the onslaught. Shoved everything away from the radiator areas, and I`ve put all my precious stuff in plastic boxes with lids, but have nowhere to put em, as the workmen are going to be in every room, and of course, in the loft. Oh, just thought, maybe the garage.

    They don`t start for another week, so I can take my time getting downstairs sorted. I think the surveyor said that they only lift floorboards upstairs, not down. I have to say I do feel a bit emotional, on my own with it all.

    I`m going to have a little snooze, so would someone give me a nudge if I`m still here at midnight.....Ange.

    We've got evening sunshine at the moment!

    I think Julie was in earlier, but haven't seen her this evening - on the other hand, between pain meds and steroids, it's a wonder I can remember my name.

    It's definitely time for another builders-in-the-bucket, that might help the brain fog.

    Evening all, (sounds like I am in Z Cars),

    Yes Trish, I will, you could not make it up, them asking you things like that. The Drs are on good money when they come to assess a person and anyone worth their salt would notice obvious things and not have to ask for clarification.

    They came to see me at home too. I had a pile of notes and Drs letters, Consultants letters, the whole chabang. He said, gosh, you have been ill a long time haven't you? Yes love, I wasn't lying when I completed the forms.
    They also rang me once and said "what would you do if you fell and there was no one there to help you"? :shock: I said, "depending if I was conscious or not, I would be on the floor, with no one to help me and that's were I would stay".

    I am just stunned at the changed they have assumed since February. At the end of February I was at risk and at danger of falls, which is true, now, I am not at risk, not at danger and can climb stairs with no problems. :shock: Don't ask me, I cannot work it out. I think the Welfare rights man who calls me regularly, will have something to say about the miracles that have happened in two months, when things have gone from bad to worse. Bonkers, it's all bonkers.

    Right, I will shut up now, I must not get stressed about it, that is not good for my angina. There, I have shut up now.

    Food was OK Trish, just not enough of it! But that last morning I asked for porridge which I'd had in the previous ward and it had been OK............what she gave me that morning looked like something with which you filled in cracks in the walls! I couldn't eat it so just left it.

    When my 'hostess' came to take the plate she was quite concerned and asked if I wanted anything else, finally offered me toast and marmalade (which I'd not been offered before) and I jumped at it......lovely!

    I think they all do try very hard, but they just haven't got the resources to cope with it all.

    Could I have a builders and several buckets of energy and I shall go and see if the embers are ready for a lodger I think :wink:

    Sorry not read back but leaving ((( )))'s for all that needs and also them hat doesn't as well :D

    Hope you all had a decent enough day? We had rain yesterday and today but still I guess it will bring the grass on a bit more....... Good if it does but possibly not if you then have to mow it...... Cris x

    Oh they would love that and could get one of those special train tickets for sheep away days too......

    I have had a bad day, the mtx has lost control of both the bones and the crohn's but hopefully I might be able to up it but hell does it knock me when they both go for the throat together :wink: Did do a sale though even though it rained a lot :roll:

    I don't think Jan gets home till after 10 tonight, so maybe she'll pop in later.

    I'm sorry the MTX isn't holding out, it does seem as if you need a higher dose, petal, so hope he gives the go ahead.

    I'm OK today, plodding onwards, behaving myself (boring but necessary).

    Well, that took longer than expected. Look at the time already :shock: not that it matters, all things considered. Now, who's here, I forgot to look. :oops: Just written a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng letter to my Consultants secretary about the DLA, so feel better that he will be on the case again.
