Just popped in for a builders and a pasty? Are there any left?. My appetite seems to be coming back today, so I'll probably be in again later.

Joy - I have sent you a PM.

"Er luv, this is my pitch for eggs orright? Now sling yer hook" the man in the mac snarled at Joan who dropped everything and ran to the door......

And to think, this was a refined establishment until recently! This Joan's not scared of men in macs, anyway :!: :!:

Hello everyone. What a busy day I've had. First of all, Flu jab 10 a.m. I've bought all the Christmas fodder and it's in the freezer. Stopped at the farm and got our fresh eggs. Then to the garden centre. 6 ornamental cabbages in diff cols. 20 Primulas and 24 pansies. Got to add them to the 3 bunches of wallflowers we bought the week before.

Got back home and got stuck in. All the plants are in. I'm fed up with the OH asking what is a flower and what is a weed for ***sake.
Oh thanks joan. I needed that Coffee.
I bought the OH a new vacuum cleaner. That's one job that I can't seem to do at the moment.

Now we are off to a firework display. It has stayed dry today.
Tomorrow we are off the London to see daughter and grandchildren. OH hates driving in London. After that I think I shall collapse and it's gp at 9 a.m.
better go. see you in 2 days times.

    joy Monday morning.

Oh lovely a kitten. We have had three kittens turn up at our door over the years. All tortoise shell coloured. The second one lived for 19yrs we called her thing after the TV series. (It seemed a good idea at the time). She thought she was a dog. Followed me around all day. Must admit I got a few odd looks when I called her in. I still miss her. This last one Rover, I know we never learn. I should have called her Penelope Pit Stop. Just drops in for a snooze - feeding and so we can admire her. Her terms.

Any chance of a cuppa and some cheese cake?

    Hi All,

Some pasties, cream, saffron and hevva as well as some eggs and milk (shame you can't have the real eggs....... I seem to have 6 trays going spare just now  Toni your ARE taking some home :lol: )

    Hope everyone is ok?

I feel bit better today, The Peas are on x factor and I at last I was able to stick my head between 4 speakers and crank it up BUT best of all one of my sheepies has been so lame and after last month I was horribly concerned .......... 8 days of spin the sheep (with variations of sheep on a waltzer, once almost certainly a rocket and just now and then she stood quietly  she is at last showing some real improvment :D I am feeling so relived but may ask if it would be ok to give her another 9 days in a week just to make sure.... Shall I shut up now?

Toni, I am so, so pleased your going for her...... She is lovely....... I know if I were strong enough I'd be out looking for a pup and a lamb  xx

    Hi Debs and Cris

Yes was welded to my duvet for 4 days with the cold too, but every cloud has a silver lining. Went back to work today and realised that I almost wasn't limping  :) Can't remember when I felt like that it was wonderful. The rest must have really helped the old bones! I'll pay for it tomorrow but it certainly made my day. Still can't shift the cold though. Thanks Velcro for the cyber cuddle. Just had a msg from Trish, hubby a little better so she may feel like posting again soon. That is good news.
    Goodnight all
    Take care
    Chris

Rehab, that was not a cleaner, it was the ghost of Christmas Past - you are labelled and haunted!
.........and you cannot sue a ghost!

Have a good day, all - it's raw cold and damp here, nasty - and I've got to go to the hospital this afternoon!
