Hi All,

Sorry I have gone quiet, life has been a bit hard this last 3 weeks. I have had to find the courage to have 2 senior employers and an ordinary employer put down and well the 2 hard ones are the 2 animals I have had the biggest bond with. So sorry, its sort of hurting quite a lot really. I kinda not worth talking to at the mo I think. I will be back to normal soon as long as the course of injections I am giving to another senior employer works....... Well it should shouldn't it? Talk about a stalking fear! Hope your all ok?

Chris I really appreciated your message cus today was so hard to get through. Velcro is being a bit of a comfort rag just now I think she loves it cus she is getting more cuddles Hope work was ok? x

Have left some milk, eggs, cream and the normal Cornish fare in the fridge. Shall grab a quick builders and then face the rain and take the employers round the fields. You all take care. Cris xx

HI Cris - sorry to ehar how hard things are, but glad that you have at least one employer who understands and is there for you.

littlelegs sends slurps, wags and cuddles - she is especially good at cuddles if you need another helper? Also she promised that she has told 'him' to be on BEST behaviour .... not sure what she has threatened him with, but it sounded quite serious

Toni, just how much washing did you bring back :shock: You've had a few loads on now!. Hope you enjoyed the better weather today at least no torrential rain here.
Hi Deb have you tried making yourself visible since the forum closure? I did and it worked this time, so think they have solved it.
Hang in there Cris, sounds a really hard time for you, I "acquired" some clotted cream fudge for you from the factory today so send that with a hug. Work still busy but am conserving spoons when I get home so am coping.
Hope the swim was good Joan, nice to see Rehab calling in for a brew. Has he nodded off on that comfy sofa?
Wonky hope you are feel a bit better today, I think I am getting the forum COLD now, you lot are SO generous :roll:

Hi everyone
Gosh I have been soooooooo busy today. 3 loads of washing - don't know where it comes from. If my OH had his way the bed wouldn't be changed for weeks. Then, I decided to make a chicken, ham and mushroom pie. Haven't made, yes, I said "made pastry" in years now . I usually do a Delia and buy it. Now I have a secret recipe for short crust and people have travelled miles to taste my pastry. Wondered why nobody came to see us anymore.
I also measured out the ingred for the christmas cake. Left the fruit to soak in brandy and sherry for 24 hours. There's still some beef left if you want some, and yorkshire pudding (not Aunt Nellies either)
After making the pie, I had some pastry left so make some mince pies, so the workmen who were making our new drive went home begging for more. Gosh, I know how to draw my men in.......secret pastry.
I shall have to try and get birthday cake make for my grandson Jude for Sunday. He will be 7 years old. bless him. he's lovely

I'm making chocolate cake too. Ever made one in the microwave? I was in a hurry the other day and thought it would probably just end up as choc pud and custard, but you know, it was beautiful. Ever so light. Not that I will do that every time now.

My once in awhile baking day has left me absolutely worn out.
So off tobed now. goodnight

blooming heck don't know where my last rant came from i've worn my self out. so going into the shower get into bed and sleep for hours and hours hopefully might even take a sleeping tablet.
just for tonight.

some one check in on Trisher for me she needs her bed straighted a warm drink, and her pillows pumped up.
leave the night light on for her cos I think she might just doze tonight.

Hi am to late for a milky coffee? I have been shattered all day after taking o/h to train station 4 am this morn. Got to bed about 5 and was up again for work at 8. No trick questions please like what day is it!
I will make some lemon cake tommorrow if anyone would like a slice.

Do help yourself in the cafe, it stays open all night and Val let's us help ourselves and put money in the till. You did have an early start hope you catch up on some sleep tonight.
Joy I've pinched a bit of that beef to put in my sandwich for work tomorrow, hope that's ok. It really is tasty. Sorry Cris I could never be a vegetarian.

Just popped back to collect her, Toni your apron is hidden for reasons that you might notice are obvious......... And say thank you for your support....... been a very bad time of late. I knew it would be but I'd forgotten just how hard it can be to do whats right.......

Stampy feet wanted you all to know her jab stings and her mummy is terribly cruel to do this to her..... Mind she came round when I produced the custard creams I just hope it works.......

Grabbed a builders and a bit of Wonky's gingerbread and Chris clotted cream fudge....... your a treasure.

Hi Val, glad you got your pc fixed and have put some more lights in the box ........ Its probably still too early though I have been eyeing up my big tree and thinking a splash of fast flashing neon blue lights may well be what I need x

The boy's are all trying to put the world to right, if possible. I don't really understand all this EU business only that I believe they( the germans) have bled us dry.

Wish there was some happy news these days. Never read newspapers either.

Builders haven't turned up because it is raining on and off. Need to get the drive finished so we can get our car on it.
When it out on the road there is always the risk of vandals. It's getting very bad round here.
Are any of you going to a firework party this weekend?
We're going to a big do, quite looking forward to it.
