Hi Trish, missed you. I am on my third trip round the island, won't be long. Hope you are ok, I know it was so hot yesterday, it was a mass melting pot in the cafe. Lovely to see you back.

gosh I can breathe better tonight ... not sure if it is the cooler air, the antihistimines, or the blue inhaler. Got to battle with the brown inhaler soon :? might need annie and trisher to remind me when to peak and flow :? first time I tried it I got it all the wrong way round

Got to be up at 7am.
I finally rung pain clinic to see why i'd been lost for so long with no appointment. Acupunture nurse been off sick for 3 months :shock: (is there only one per hossie)
When i spoke to them they booked me in for a 5 wk course starting on Friday :shock:
Anyone gonna hold my hand while they stick horrid needles in me neck & spine :shock:

nurse Bubbles in on the way. We never even had one accu nurse at any of the hospitals I worked at, mind you, that was when Florence was a lass,

You would think after 26 years of nursing, and working with every Dr in just about every speciality, it would be a breeze, but, when the tables are turned, it is very different.

Wonky can you fit in me pocket with me tissues,meds & oh er something horrid lurking in there. Oh sorry wrong coat :shock:
Bubbles i will come back to you about needles after the event. But nice to have you there incase of emergency.
if this doesnt work then its injects under x-ray & thats about it for me i think.
Ive had the steroid injects into joints & they didnt work.
Meds are struggling too :roll: me lost cause to pain i think.

I bet in some ways it is harder for you to be a patient then it is for us ..... at least we don't know the half of it when we're there ... sometimes knowledge isn't always helpful is it?!

and it is your body they're talking about and you don't get to give it back or send it home with someone else
