I wish I could have found a place to scream my head off. I have had rotten day. I'm so fed up.
Someone will have to make me laugh.
What happend to you.???
trish xx0 -
Hi All
I'm just organizing a hot air ballon trip. Anyone one is welcome as long as yo can fill it up.(rehab no, I do not mean whar you are thinking)
All you have to do is hold on tight. Hopefully we will have lift off, go somewhere where there are mountains and then we can all scream all our depression, not feeling happy, or someone upset you.
Our screams wil echo, echo, echo. Maybe we will all feel better if not carry on with the amytrip.
trish xx0 -
I think I'm getting bad side effects from something-or-the-other. I did have a lovely lunch, but after that I just wanted to get home.
Think I'll have a large builders and some sticky toffee pudding with cream!
Annie0 -
Hi Trish,
Fly it over this way, Slipper boy loves balloons going over and he chases them....... Mind the last one was bright red, quite low and I had been doing a bit of sun bathing when I heard Slipper boy go into his excited best chasing something voice so I had to hurriedly get a shirt on and leg it after him.... The balloon people heard me call him, knew his name and started calling him too...... It was a close call but he did come back amongst a lode of laughing
I do sky ranting a lot cus I have no neighbours and it don't half help. Sometimes life isn't fair, its not easy but better times do come..... I shall have a builders and some egg on toast and shut up now  Cris xx0 -
Ok am up for a balloon ride Trish, though am a bit scared of heights
Will you hold my hand tight love. In the meantime if you need me to get anyone for you I am ready.
Hang on tight love.
Chris xx0 -
Annie, Chris.Cris. Joan, I cannot remember who else sorry.
I think, we all deserve a rant, scream or maybe a dance. I don't know. I had a really, really bad night.
Chris, glad you have calmed down today. Done you good to get out even if for work, help stopped you worrying a bit.
I will have an extra large pancake with lemon so we can help Cris out.
Cris(((((((((((((((((eggs trouble))))))))))))))) for you.
Can't you stop them from laying or is that bad???
trish xx0 -
Hi Trish,
The storms have stopped them laying a bit now They are also going into moult and that stops them as well. They have been doing 12-14 a day and now they are down to 4.
Had some friends come and bless them they ate a lot in an egg based dinner and took a tray with them so there are only 8 doz in the fridge now........ The dogs are having some and some of the cats like scrambled eggs
I really recommend sky ranting xx0 -
Finally found the pancake piccy
I'll make us all one eh? Did you have a sale to do today Cris?
Some one get the tomato sauce, I've found the lemon and sugar.
Chris0 -
Hi Chris,
Got the sauce Give it a go its really nice
It would have been on if it hadn't done a lot of heavy rain over night. Sundays one is on grass and the forecast for thursday is appalling but only 30 mph winds so thats something eh?
Hows you today? Velcro lost out on the battle of the lap tonight to Thingummy, they are both growing and bless her she is sulking sat on a dog instead x
Annie I hope you didn't get any flooding? x
Hi Wonky,
Hope you got your mtx ok this week and it soon helps you. Little legs was incredible hanging on to bits of rope to stop things blowing away. I hope she got home ok? Slurps and ((( )))'s xx0 -
wot you having on your pancake Trish, nice bit of tomato sauce? Or are you really in need of chocolate
Annie has disappeared hope she is ok.
Hey Cris I have a spare lap for Velcro and pals if you need one. Purrs to them all. Really must think about getting another puddy cat. Lucky Toni tomorrow getting her kitten. Been an almost sunny day here today. yep hope Wonky ok she was up late with Trish, neither of them sleeping I guess.
Anyone want another cuppa? The kettles on.
Chris0 -
Chris
Lemon please. Tried tomatoe not for me. I will stick to lemon. Can I have a coffee please.
Cris
I did not know that about chickens. Do you mean they lay that each!!
What are you feeding them on??
I have learnt something.0 -
Hi all, I'm back after a short hitch in the proceedings! No flooding, Cris, but it was touch and go for a while. When we take the car out and it's like this we don't know if we will be able to get back in again - happened several times, but was OK today. The river had gone down a little by the time we got back.
Pancakes............mmmm, now there's a thought; don't think I can face tomato sauce though, will stay with the lemon and sugar on mine, think I can eat about three...........dozen.
Is there any ginger wine in the cupboard?
Annie0 -
Coffee on it's way.
I agree those hens sound a bit over worked  No wonder they having a rest. Did you find Annie? Hope she isn't poorly after her lunch out.
Am around for a while if you need to message Trish. What shall we have after our pancakes? ice cream I think
Chris x0 -
Chris
I think she may have gone to bed. She's tired bit worn out.
I'm so glad I'm not a chicken. Do you think they get sore?? I know that is what Chickens do but their eggs are not soft shelled when they lay?
Did Cris get any thick clotted cream that would be nice. Oh gosh I could really eat some of that.
I did stay around for you Chris, just did not want you to be worried and upset, espcially when you cannot do anything about what your worried over being it is the week end
I logged on again a bit later to make sure you were not up and still so upset.
Trish xx0 -
Am sure there is clotted cream here, Cris usually drops some off. You're right those poor chickens
Please stop worrying bout me, am much better and had a reasonable day at work, without any rain. Do hope you have a better night.
Some one might bring us soup in tomorrow that would be nice. Think Deb or Joy may even bake some proper bread if we ask nicely. Who knows what treats might arrive? Just wish I could cook!
Chris0 -
Hi Trish,
There is cream in the fridge and I am thinking clotted cream and pancakes might be nice
The hens are supposed to lay one egg a day....... I feed them mash, corn and layers and they are free range in daylight but in their house by night. Mine ar mostly x battery and have had their egg production really under stress so they are normally that good...... I have a few old ones who free load but thats ok x
Hi Chris,
Its nice to see you more yourself today. I am sure these people don't realise how vulnerable we are to them saying things that make us worry.
Velcro and one of my biggest cats have come to an arrangement over the lap thing and Eeyore will pack his bags and come and live with you....... He isn't very nice though Has a few neurosis based behavioural traits and I have been wishing to re home him for the last 8 years
You should have another one though, I always think its a shame when there is a shortage fr good homes if a good home hasn't got one if that makes sense? x
Hi Annie,
Surface water is a real pain eh? We got heavy rain yet again and my swamp was just starting to go sticky........ Mind the slush is easier to walk through...... Its the lodgers, they are mobile mud machines x0 -
Chris
I'll drop of some cakes, I've just put them in the oven, Will be cooked soon,
Fresh bread, now that would be nice. AND soup, do you know what if we were all eating this I cannot imagine what size we would be do they do size 100
This is a nice world to get lost in for a while, helps to forget yout worries, for a while.
Chris You used to worry over me, when I was so down and I thought I was going to loose the man who won my heart.
I'll never forget what you did and others.I know what it is like to worry only too well. I will be glad when this year is over.
Did you get your cossy out??
trish xxx0 -
Cris
This cream is lovely. pass the jug again, ooobitmoremm.
It did seem a lot to lay, I'm no expert I do not know much about chickens I don't eat them either.
Who is Eeyour, one of my donkeys have that name. I got a Christmas card from them it is lovely. I wonder what my grandson will say when finds out Santa left him a donkey to adopt and support.
Chris back at the factory tomorrow. Yes you have not had a nice few days.
I think these medical people talk but don't stop to think that it leaves a lot of unaswerd questions. You tend to pick up on Really Bad, then nothing much goes in after that does it.
I don't think they mean to do it, it is their ways of putting things. You were upset enough Friday Chris remember??
Still at least you can see what is what tomorrow, that nice young man, we will need to know every detail.
trish xxx0 -
Sorry am still about just had my sis on the phone for her daily update not that I ever get chance to say much :?
Hey Trish, am thrilled the cossy still fits, though might have to hold my breath to keep the tummy in Was quite impressed for a gal of nearly 50  That physio might go for the legs too! Who knows
That's a deal Cris. Eeyore is very welcome, me and a neurotic cat would suit each other very well! You are right, I should have another cat but worry bout the long term commitment bit, might look into fostering?
Trish we have missed your baking those cakes smell delicious.
Chris0 -
Chris Cris
I still have a lot of my "baking nights" thought best not to do it. I will tonight.
I wished the doctors would tell me whe Hubby can come home. I miss him, want to be with him.
I just hope everything will be ok for Christmas. I don't think I could take too much more of this year.
It has been a very sad sad, year for us then my hubby being ill. That's without me.
Cris makes cakes, get her to bring some in as well. By the way Cris all these smileys remind me of egg yolks all od a sudden
Trish xx0 -
Am still about but will switch to Night Owls if anyone wants to join me, all this food is far too tempting
No sign of Wonky yet? She has been calling in late some nights so sending a hug your way Wonky. Hope you feeling better tomorrow Val, don't let that garden win the battle.
Stay dry Annie!
Hope you all get some kip if you can. Will take a brew with me ta.
Chris0 -
Hi Chris,
Fostering could be a good idea but I then end up keeping them Eeyore has his bag packed You probably would be patient enough for him......... I have to say he really isn't a nice cat and when he had his ear infection we had a hell of a time treating him, got slashed to bits and quite a few bites  See why I never have found hi a home? x
Hi Trish,
Next Year has to be better.A (((( )))) and a hope tomorrow will be kinder to you. x0 -
wow .... don't tell me we're closing for the night?
oh no, it's ok, have found the flasks and am tucking into the leftover pancakes ..... to for the organised one whoever it was
Have been busy today. The sun was shining so after CHurch we took littlelegs out onto the common and she had such a good time. It was only muddy in parts, so I was lucky. We stay near the top of the hill so it is not so easily turned into a swamp. Sorry to hear that others have had less than perfect weather. I really enjoyed the sunshine.
Am doing ok thanks for those who asked. MTX on Wednesday all being well.
rith, don't feel like sleep so will knock up some baking for tomorrow. How about pineapple upside down cake, lemon driozzle cake, pavlova and egg custards? oh and I'll make some lentil soup to warm us up as my spies say rain on the way
sorry some of you had horrid nights - they are the worst I think.
Littlelegs says she will rehome a cat, but she might not pass the 'good home' test she'll eat as many eggs as you send too
sleep well all.
