    Nice to see so many in today. Sorry you still having computer probs Joy, they are so annoying. Poor you Trish that tree keeping you awake. Hope everyone is staying dry. Have just got the shopping in time as the rain coming down now and am successfully avoiding the ironing. Good idea Val the tomato soup I fancy a cheese sandwich dipped in tomato soup, yummy.

    Hi All,

    Oh its gone calmer wind wise......Might get some kip tonight and the sale may be on after all :D Never thought I would be keen t do one.

    We had some friends here today so he dogs are worn out and the cats are still not sure there aren't strangers in the camp still...... I am always amazed at how unfriendly the cats are t people they don't know too well...... :?

    Jan I hope you survived the storms and didn't get blow away? There was a point around 5 this morning when I thought I might be :wink::lol: thankfully its all okish and I still got electric :D

    It's crowded in here tonight. Sign there's football, rugby or repeats on the box. Thought I would take a quick break inbetween getting ready for the family coming for sun lunch. Hard work, but I love it.
    Saw what you said about Sausage rolls. I'll bring some in on Tuesday. Nothing like my sausage rolls :roll: :lol: I've got a good supplier for some lovely Lincolnshire Sausages.

    That cheesy things looks nice, pasty is it? It all smells nice. Collected unsold pictures, loads of interest in it but no one buying yet!, strange how every member of the committee some of who were on the selection committee had 4 pics each on show. For only a one week show, entry fee of £6 per pic is a bit high. If your pic isn't selected, you do not get your money back. On the other hand, the charge for exhibition space anywhere is sky high, making it hard for groups like us to break even. The museum charged £1200 for the use of the premises for the week. Anyway, as I was leaving someone spoke to me about one of my pictures and I think I will be making a sale soon, not as much as I would like, but possibly doing this someone a favour. :wink: Apart from that I am running out of storage space. Still having probs with PC. Is anyone else. I've spoken to several people today who have had something or other wrong with theirs. Problems really started after I tried to load Emoticons on to my system. Got to go. still lots to do and I want to finish my book tonight. The Scarpetta Factor, brilliant.

    I live about 100 yards from a river - we are watching it with interest at the moment! In fact, we are too high (the road rises steeply from the river) but our neighbours lower down must be worried. If the river goes over the road the only thing we can't do is get our car out and we are supposed to be going out for lunch tomorrow!
    It has all quietened down here, but I gather more is on the way for Monday - that'll be nice! We do lose our power sometimes if it does flood, so if I go quiet you'll know what it is!
    Had a very quiet day, too windy to go out and so I've been doing things like the Xmas Cards and wrapping a few prezzies to be posted off to NZ.
    After all that work I think a nice cuppa and a cheese roll, followed by a large helping of angel-food cake.
    Hope none of you have been blown away!

    get to the lunch on time.

    Eeerrrmmmm I have not got any petrol though only oars, can you do a work out that way instead of going to the gym????

    Are you feeling any better at all? It's all much quieter here, so hopefully you won't have a tree trying to get into bed with you tonight.

    I'm very restless at the moment, can't make up my mind what to do next.............maybe I'll just have another cuppa and think about it. I've been roaming round the house like a pregnant cow for the last hour or so........just can't settle now.

    I could start knitting another hat............

    Hope you can get comfy Trish, you must be shattered. Can you doze in the day? I can given the chance. Could sleep on a clothes line sometimes. :lol:

    Bit quiet in here, hope everyone having a good day with some company and a rest. At least weather has been ok in my bit of Yorkshire today and work ok, so hope the rest of you have not had more storms? Hope you surviving Cris?
