Hi Trish
Coffee here for you. Not been at work today thank goodness. The factory still busy but we still have extra staff in so I have left them to it as was finding the extra hours too much. Will be in the shop Sunday but doing the chores here tomorrow I guess. How do I create so much ironing?
It has been really dark all day but have only now got the torrential rain think it has been working it's way up North. Hope everyone is ok and not getting flooded out?
Hope you have a better day tomorrow Trish the trouble with sores is they can take a while to heal, hope the air cushion helps. Hope you getting some rest now Annie.

Hi Chris,
Pretty one gone to check out the availability of dinner and now its Velcro and Thingummy who purr to you Pretty one is a lovely cat, its not her real name but thats even worse She is a beautiful cram and white who looks oriental but is actually x feral from a farm I once went to see with a view to buying...... Didn't but did get half the cats  Their colours do suggest some foreign blood in there some where though......
Sorry the storms have made it up there, its calmed down a bit now here. No more than a 6 - 7 and the rain isn't as heavy...... Just so waterlogged  x0 -

I keep getting cut off. I have to keep logging on again. Then I've lost my messages
I don't know.
Can I have a pancake Val. How are you alright?
trisher0 -
Hi Folks
I'm in a much better mood than last night, and haven't touched a drop today. Me and red wine don't go together, as I discovered. I'll stick to a cup of coffee tonight.

Hi all
Tried to find a nice image to fit but it doesn't look like much of a pancake in this pan eh?
Cris, yes I gathered you are a rescuer of critters in all colours shapes and sizes, bless you. It is a big responsibility you have there but hope you enjoy them all. How is the employer with the limp? getting better I hope or at least no worse.
I keep accidentally finding spare things at the factory  so can supply humbugs and clotted cream fudge at times. Will try and remember hunt some more out on Monday when I am back there.
Trish does so like a humbug. Hi Val, tis chucking it down here at the moment just hope it stops tomorrow as will have to get some rations in.
Chris0 -

Hi Joan,
Glad your feeling a bit better today and would you like a refill? x
Hi Chris,
Oh she has been off the jabs for 3 days and is going lame again  Its so wet and muddy and I still think deep down she will be lame till her hoof grows down over the old abscess hole...... I just hope she will stop worrying me! Back to the normal 2 now cus have just taken the dogs for a swim round the fields...... Winds dropped a bit but swung to the south east now.......Hope its blown through up there now? x
Right I shall grab a builders and then take her and him back x0 -
No Trish
You won't find any usual bits in the humbugs! I tend to "accidentally find the humbugs etc" as wouldn't want my employer to think I was stealing them Heaven forbid.
Anyway what is this about you getting on the stairway to heaven with rehab? You can't keep any secrets on here you know?
Can I get you another coffee or are you too exhausted now!
Chris0 -
Hi Cris

Hi from a wet and rather breezy (or at least it sounds it) East Yorkshire.
been a busy day - had to celebrate finally receiving some MTX of the right dose by meeting hubby from work at 1pm and having a slap-up 'breakfast' at the nearby supermarket for lunch. Also been visiting mother-in-law and doing a bit of shopping.
Cris - littlelegs is on her way with her coat, wellies and a few treats for the lodgers ....... ahem .... sorry ......... my mistake ..... for your 'employers'.
Ta for all who asked abut me - can't quite remember who did, but it's appreciated.
fine but tired after yesterday and have to be out in the morning for some training when I'd rather be shopping or in bed.
see you tomorrow evening hopefully - storms & rain permitting
here's some 'swamp soup' to warm you all up - kale, potato, garlic & chilli - yummy but not very nice to look at (hence the name )
night night all0 -
Mornin All,
Put the lights on and stuck the urn on as well. Eggs in the fridge and some pasties in the warmer.
Hope everyone had a decent night and has a reasonable day.
Going to grab a builders and sit by the fire for a min. Its horrible eh? Its got to blow through soon though........ Tuesday I think x0 -
Morning Cris, Thank God you survived the storms. Sit there and I`ll make you a mushroom omelette - with your lovely eggs. I`m having bacon pieces in mine. Two builders to be going on with.
Feck it, it`s our Jan. Welcome back sweetie, really missed you. How are your lovely doggies? What can I get for you?..........Ange.0 -
Hi all, hi Jan, not sure we've met, but hi anyway.
I don't know about you lot, but I'm finding it a tad damp and breezy outside today........it's still coming down in shedloads as I write and it's been doing it all night.
Something warming for lunch, I think ....soup..........and an egg roll (to help out with the glut of eggs)........and a builders to wash it down.
I've bought in some quiches and huge cheese vol-au-vents - if you're like me and like cheese and pastry together, they are scrummy!
Anybody any good at sausage rolls?
Annie0 -
Hi Everyone
How did we all sleep last night?
I thought at some point this tree outside was invitig itself in, either to get into bed with me or for tea and toast.
I never slept alll night.

Hi all, from a very stormy Northamptonshire,
Hope you are all ok
I don't know about all of you, but it makes me feel quite dizzy and headachy.
I think I'll have a quick coffee before I brave elements to go and collect my unsold pictures from Rushden. I don't think they hve sold that many despite the fantastic quality of work. Very professional. don't think there is the money around at the moment. I think they have sold 7 pictures out of 200.
I will now have another attempt at sending a message before the screen freezes again. Had 2 attempts to log on as it is, Perhaps it is the storm gremlins.
Hope to pop in later.

joan xx0 -
Hi folks
The sky has suddenly gone really black and stormy. It's cold and rainy, so I'm in hibernation today. I'm all warm and comfy, so a nice bowl of soup would go down a treat.
