Hi Trish,

Oh she seems to read my mind but she was wrong tonight cus she is off the jabs for a bit...... Think she will have to go back on though but have left them shut in and out of the cold and mud. She is a lot better just not sound yet.

Saw the forcast just now.......... Well its kinda normal for November but the gales are always a bit of a worry cus there are so many bits here that are venerable to structural damage....... It happened once and I have got a bit edgy ever since Sundays looking dodgy though......

Here we are Cris, he`s been bathed and brushed, AND he`s got a new red quilted coat. Doesn`t he look the business? He`s come to show off to Littlelegs, and then he said he may come back for a sleep over if you can spare him.

I`ve never heard of putting tomato sauce on pancakes, but what the hell, lets give it a go. Wish you were nearer, I`ve just paid £1 99. for six large eggs!........Ange.

HI all,

after that fab snooze on our comfy sofa I decided to cook a casserole for tea. Plenty left if you fancy - Pork, carrot, swede & celery (and a few other odds and ends in there too )

Sorry not been in again - got a surprise phone call & had to dash out to church. The steward meant to be helping at a concert tonight was not able to go, and she knew I had wanted to see the concert but had not got a ticket.

So ... for standing/sitting around all night, showing people to the loos, helping move furniture :shock: to make way for a wheelchair and generally being there if anyone needed anything I got to see the concert for free

It was lovely but hard work, and I got to chat to the bloke who used to teach me flute at college nearly 20 years ago who was one of the instrumentalists. Was just sad to have to admit that I don't play any more 'cause of arthur, and don't teach any more either. :roll: :roll:

Chris - glad the appointment seems to have been fruitful. I have found physio to be very good if the physio knows about arthur, otherwise a bit hit and miss. Haven't tried hydrotherapy but have heard it is good.

Cris - littlelegs is sending her tips for getting a good night's sleep in windy and rainy conditions, and is offering to hold onto the roof for you if needed. she has had practice at catching ridge tiles :shock: but hopefully you won't need her to show off her skills!

He looks lovely in his red quilted jacket......... He does have a waxed jacket but he'd love to eat a quilted one He said e enjoyed his sleep over and it was very kid of you to make him clean....... He is now back in his dirty muddy suit though it was a bit drier this morning.......... Don't think it will last though........ x

Nice to see Pixy back and on form, hope you enjoy the curry later. You, Val and Cris were in early today? I rarely open an eye before 10 if I am not at work! Hi Joan and Page, I love a poppadom but then anything resembling a crisp sounds good to me.

My first day back at work in 3 weeks and I am totally wiped out! A quick builders for me and a bacon butty (with egg, yum) followed by something very rich, very creamy and very immoral.

Then I'm off to zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow if I can put the wires back together.

Hope you are all having a good Friday 13th - these storms are quite something, aren't they? Probably not such a good 13th for many.

Been having trouble getting logged on again this evening but ok at the mo.
Cris do hope you are surviving these storms. :roll: Think they have just got to Yorkshire now. Horrible, but have stopped in all day so am lucky. Hugs to Pretty one (a new name to me) and to Velcro.
