Don't know if anyone knows this but we have a Party in the Park in Leeds every summer where top bands and singers come and do a great concert. Tickets are free and today was the launch. Stood for 2 1/2 blinking hours this morning for tickets and now my ankles and feet are killing me. Feel really mad with myself for doing this as I should have known better. But never mind we usually have a great time on the day and I'm sure this year will be no different. Anyway, just remembered I'm in the cafe so maybe I'll have a lovely long cold drink while I'm here. she was lovely - I called her Matilda ( till Foxtrotter).

Hi Every one, yes im still about. just.
Dad is doing well & sounds better & so does me mum. Been so worried about them both. Thanks so much for all your support, i was falling to pieces here & you all helped me so much.

Ive not read back but from what i can gather so far is;
Jan you need to go drs & get them knees looked at. Mine gave way on me this morning on way to bathroom & it was an urgent trip. :roll: Please at least get them looked at & insist on xrays, as mine think they have xray vision & there fine (well you live with them then :x )

Toni, Hows that neck doing now? ( sorry i forgot to ask earlier)

Hi Brenda, Toni, Cris, Julie, Val, Annie, Jan and hugs immediately to one and all

Been a lovely sunny day here, some pottering, some oedema of the legs :shock: sitting in the garden, a bit more pottering, huge amounts of gossiping with the neighbours, and on the phone bit of a hoo ha, but won't go into it now, (not with us and the neighbours), they have been really good, but we have been up in the air and down again and back up again..........

Thought OH was going to and I was having really bad palpatations...........anyway, things are calmer now,( not resolved ), but calmer and we are both exhausted.

So that's our Saturday

Now then, should I make a gallon of ginger beer with lots of crushed ice?

Yes Jan, I will be round with an x-ray machine if they won't do it. Shame on them, I remember a GP once, thank goodness not mine, who had superman's eyes and could see into your body, stupid man, missed so many fractures and internal damage. It is the day for knees giving out, mine did on the balcony/ramp today, stick went through the balustrades, fortunately OH and neighbour were there, or I might have been over the top too. Horrid when they do that. Hugs to you Jan, let's get it sorted v soon. xx Bubbles.

what a warm one it has been today :shock: I think I melted this afternoon

Hubby did shopping, I have done very little apart from pot on 3 plants and water the garden! Hope the rain comes cos the water butt is almost empty

Sorry to see that it was a bad night for some last night. Hope tonight is a much better one.

Sorry, the laptop froze, well overheated I think, it is a tad warm again. Have laptop cooler fans and big fan on now..........Yes, I was ok, I grabbed the railing and the clothes airer. Eventful day to say the least, OH is writing letters as it will be going to legal action at this rate. Not to worry, OH and I are fine, we never fall out, just other people driving us potty. Must have a ciggy and a cup ot T....................

Thanks for the hugs and no, I will try not to do back flips on the decking. No, we don't need the stress,I was in a right state, had to take extra diazepam to settle things a bit. Better now, can hear letters coming off the printer..........best see what is happening.............

Bubbles is ready to pop, so warm, almost sitting in the fan.

I am going to go rest up, off to see my folks today, not far away, so a short journey, need some provisions too, the fridge is empty and the cats need their M&S chicken and bacon, (don't we all). I want to be a cat in this home.

Jaded, hot, legs like balloons, stressful day, so must rest them and my brain............after a cup of T of course. Tetley T bag me could not go without a cuppa afore bed. Pills starting to work, eyes crossing.

Take lots of care everyone, hugs to all, Trish, big hugs to you too hun, hope you are mending. Missing you again.

Sorry, I cannot do my cafe chores tonight, will do some tomorrow, promise. Will bring cakes from Mark's too.

ho great tea ready what a treat.
evening do was lovely got there 8.25 just as band was stopping for speaches and food left 10pm about 15 min after band started again they were very good (a rock band) but was hot in the room and the noise to much for me these days lol. they had hog roast very nice and bride looked lovely got in before the heavens opened lucky us lol val
