    I will have a fuss, take my mind off hospitals. Let me get the pots sorted. e010.gif now what, washing, a015.gif tablecloths in and on a hot wash,
    a045.gif floors washed down, be careful, no slipping.
    Large supplies of cakes, energy and hugs brought in from the store room. g100.gif
    Fresh flowers on the tables c010.gif milk is on simmer for hot chocolate, d030.gif coffee in the pot and kettle is on simmer for pots of T.

    I have to be on the ward at 1.30. I think Val is first on the bus

    Trying not to think about going, so been pottering and such like, anyway, will be over this time tomorrow.

    No idea, but I will make sure you are all comfy. Better pack a picnic, if we are all off on hospital trips. Have they said why your bloods are high?

    I spoke to the ward Sister and she said " I don't think he will want to keep you in"................I said too right, I am NOT staying in. I reminded her I was in her position for many years, so best look after me rather well and no mistake. Won't know till I get there, but I hope to be home tomorrow evening, drained and injected

    I said I wanted a local anaesthetic, but he said it wasn't necessary, well, there could be a fuss if Bubbles thinks it is necessary, don't mess with Bubbles when pointing needles at my knees. :shock:

    Fluid, yes, lots of it, an effusion he said, being all Dr ish. He will drain it and then inject steroids, hence I wanted it numbed beforehand. We will see, if I kick up a fuss.

    I have no idea. I have never been to this clinic before. It is the Liver Unit where I'm going to see a Liver Concsultant.

    There will be a lot to report tonight, with all our visits. At least I don't have to be there at the crack of dawn. Will go to McDonalds before, as a little treat. OH will come to the ward and find out how long they are keeping me in. Hospital is about 30 ish minutes from here. I asked should I bring anything, Sister said no, but I will be taking my pills, just in case.

    I'm not even going to say try and stay calm. I know I will not and I know when I get there my heart will br about 120 beats thumping in my ear and I will have high blood pressure.

    Until I see the doctor and well I will have to see what he/she is like.

    I have a fear of doctors that is why.
