    HI Everyone,

so glad to see that everyone escaped the clutches of the hospitals

Trisher .... no worries I'll be there for you tomorrow for the CT scan .... have your pocket ready :lol: still got hold of the rope just in case  DOn't worry about the nuclear medicine bit ... I know it sounds scary but I ahve seen a lot of their work on these different hospital programmes and they do some amazing things ..... this may be just the way to get the answers you crave.

Julie - so glad that this drip went ok for you after last time, and I will be hoping that it works for you. Every four weeks is not too bad if it does some good I would have thought. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works for you.

Bubbles - sorry to see that they didn't drain your knee .... not good of them  but glad you got the injection still. Mind you , no pottering  how ever will you manage? will have to tie you to your seat :lol::lol::lol:

Debs     :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: have you stopped being    yet?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Right ... I know there was soeone else .....

please accept humble wonky apologies for those I've missed & lots of hugs winging thier way to you(((((((((())))))))))))

No, no pottering, well, it didn't last long..........I had a little potter in the kitchen, perching, then a hobble - knee is so big now I cannot bend it. I have a feeling the green needle might have been better, in hindsight. Still, I think it will settle and be less like a boulder by the morning.

We did laugh on the ward though. The Rheummy wanted the bed higher, so he pumped it up and the noise, it was SO loud, creaking and groaning. The couple opposite said "What are you doing in there". I said, give the steroids to the bed, it needs them more than me.

I have worked out what he was saying in a nice Doctor kind of way.

"you are knackered, we need to up your medication sky high so that you don't care if you are on this earth or fullers, no way can we operate as you are too high a risk, so we will bodge it and bang it and hope for the best".

I am going to ask for an OT referral as I can hardly get up off the loo now, needs a frame round, plus my chair needs to be on blocks, will ask GP on Monday.

Would someone pass me a cup of T please and thank you.

oops .... time for meds ...... will have to go and get them.

    ugh!

they have given me different shaped co-codamol so that is going to confuse me ....... will have to be very careful to make sure that I take a 30/500 or a 8/500 and not get mixed up

the round ones are not so easy to get out of the packet, or to swallow :x :x :x :x

Oh well, they'll only last me about a fortnight so soon be back to the 'right' shape I hope

Thanks WOnky, you are a gem. p045.gif the bed was the noisiest one I have ever known, trust me to be on it. Oh had to wheel me back to the car, in reverse, in one of those funny out patient chairs that steer from the back. s020.gif we were racing the man and his wife opposite, it was a tie break in the end, whizzing past the WH Smith shop in reception. STOP, I need chocolate................fell on deaf ears though.

Not pottering is doing my head in. n030.gif OH wont let me out of his sight, so I cannot sneak off k050.gif
