Brenda
You are early tonight or am I wrong? How are you?
Hi Debs
How are you? Have you had a nice day??
Trish xx0 -
Brenda
Has that pain in your knee come back again. You said it had gone the pain but it has come back?
Oh that's not too good is it?0 -
Hi Brenda, I dont get offended easy, so no you havent.(cant think why you'd think that i got thick skin)
I had the jabs in both knees & me right thumb & they didnt help, infact the thumb got worse.
Im now waiting for jabs in my neck, ive had to go through the motions to get there though. Jabs, acunpuncture, changings meds & now nearly a year later im waiting for the appointment to come through. I think they will not be amused as i didnt finish me acupuncture & will make me wait months.
Enjoy the sun tomorrow & try to rest up, its to easy to have a day off then try to catch up on stuff in the house. Debs orders are DONT please.0 -
Hi Trish, yup am in a bit early tonight but not feeling sleepy. I'm afraid my knee has started again, not as bad as before but painful nevertheless. Getting results of knee, hand nd wrist x rays tomorrow, so might know more about whats going on then, fingers crossed (actually that hurts so nevermind).
Sorry to hear your steroids didn't work for you. The first steroid jab I had was a few years ago in my thumb, it lasted for about 18 months and was fab, but now I'm finding they are not lasting long at all. Had two in my shoulders last October, they only lasted a few weeks, not good really. How have you been today Trish, hope you have had a reasonable day and hope you manage to get some sleep tonight. Love and hugs (((((((()))))))) Brenda xx0 -
Thanks Debs, I will definitely try to follow your orders. Only thing I have planned is I must go to Slimming W--ld to get weighed at lunch time, otherwise is relaxation all day, so the more sun the better for me. Not been given amytriptiline but might ask for it if it helps with sleep.
Hope you have a peaceful night, love Brenda xx0 -
Brenda
I did not get much sleep. Arthur is really biting me everywhere in my jaw, wrists , shoulders, neck back hips,
Some is Oa and the other is RA also PsA Most is RA i think.
But I'm not having much meds wise. Until they can sort me out. Waiting for Nuclear meds appointment.
Did your son see the cartoon I did last night?
I'm sorry you are having a bad time as well. Where are you going tomorrow hospital or GP?0 -

There is some yak milk there, is it alright if it has a green coat on the top? We have not had anyone ask for it so no one has made it.

Thanks Wonky, I need them hugs.
I am looking forward to one too, but it isn't going to happen until Dad is out of hospital. He is ok, but they need his blood results right before they let him out, another couple of days I think. Today was very long, went to to pick mum up, had lunch, went to hospital, stopped a while, then went shopping, then back to hospital for a while, fuss round Dad, make sure he is ok and settled ( I went into nurse mode again), then take mum home and on and on and on......................Only now are my pills working, three co codamol, 1 pregablin, 4 amitryp and just starting to ease the pains. I don't think I will need rocking tonight.
It won't be so much of a here and there tomorrow, just hospital visiting and then home. The wards are so hot, they drain the life out of you.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Goodnight Wonky
Have a peaceful night

Hi trish, Im just about here luv.
Got so quiet in here i was reading the LWA forums & got a bit caught up in the threads.
Im not far off bed but i have to be absolutely knackered to sleep.
debs0 -
I didn't go to bed Trish, just loafed in my chair like a zombie, waiting for all the meds to kick in. Have one more lot to go and then I think I will be done for.
Still, I could not miss going to the hospital, OH is tired out too, with all the driving, not that it is a million miles, but even so, it is tiring, making sure I am ok all the time and Mum and Dad, I know all the staff are looking after him, but are they looking after him like I would, if I were still nursing??................mmmmmmmmmm I think they are, they are very good, it is so busy on coronary care and the hospital it so short of beds at the moment.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
How do you milk a yak how can you see with all that fur on it do you shave it off down there??
Wulf

No, I think it will be Friday, or the week end, Mum will look after him and we will go as much as is needed, poor OH has to look after us all. Still waiting to hear about his carers allowance, plus he should get a medal.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
How to milk and shave a Yak, Yuk is what I say. Night night Wonky, Debs, Trish and Bubbles, hope you all have a peaceful nights sleep. Oh Bubbles, starting to worry about you now, you're wearing yourself out. Will be glad when your dad gets home then maybe you can relax a bit. Take care and here are lovely soothing and healing hugs for you and your OH (((((((((((())))))))))), Sweet Dreams, love Brenda xxxx0
