Sorry i had to dash off earlier but being in trish's pocket was a bit hot & i got covered head to toe in crumbs from this lots picnics. :roll: I had to dash off for a bath :shock: :roll: Messy lot these here & pocket sitting in this weather isnt a pleasant experience.

weve had a few drops of rain here & its cooled off but im still melting away. I got out the bath & wish i hadnt bothered the sweats just pouring off me.

Right i think im going to have some cheese on toast & some fresh orange juice. Luverly.

Hello to those who are still here and rest those who have gone to bed, sleep well.

Trish, if you look in, we are all out of your pockets now, hope things went ok for you, I know you will be tired and jaded after your hossy visit. Take lots of care hun, thinking of you.

Some decent rain here, hoorah, after sooooooooo many weeks of dry weather. Had to close the windows as the mosquito's were out and about, darned things, cannot rest if I know there is one buzzing around. It is still warm though, but not in a total lather.

Been to Hossy with Dad, to the warfarin clinic. I was directing us all, with the porter, to where it used to be when I went, no, it is not there now, so off we go again, to pharmacy, wrong, go back upstairs to reception, have bloods done, then come back down again..............good grief, don't you realise what my Dad is going through, cramped half in, half out of a wheelchair, while we do a merry dance round the place. Oh boy was I in Matron mode good and proper.

Then, to top it all, OH drove the car round to reception, to pick us up, we have a badge for me anyway,

woman and man walked past, and they said "look at them, blocking the entrance, husband replied I know they just don't care these days", well, that did it, I yelled at her "just what is your problem lady, there are two disabled people here, what do you want us to do, walk the 5 miles home"? I think it dawned on her and she skulked off. How dare she. Oh was saying ignore them, no way, I was setting off after them, but OH stopped me and said let's just get sorted and get mum and dad home. I was fuming.

Im afraid some of us blue badge holders do get some abuse.
I get blue badge syndrome when i cant get parked & when i have to walk back on me crutches i find someone just sitting in a bay having a **** & waiting for his misses. No badge to be seen, but im to quiet to say anything :roll: . I did write a letter to T...o's to complain about staff parking in disabled parking & i got no reply :x
Sad world we live in.

Nah, well, we had a nice day off yesterday, treated to lunch by some dear friends, which was lovely, sat in the shade at a rather well to do garden centre near us.

Today was, well, one of those days, but it is over now. Day off tomorrow, then the in laws are coming on Wed for two days, not that that is a worry, they spoil us rotten and won't let me do anything and are no trouble at all. More lunches out as well, 8) Friday we are back at the hossy with Dad, for more bloods, then I think the district nurse will take over.
I am waiting for the OT to come and sort out a frame to go round one of the loo's so I can get up and down better. Going to look at an electric up and down recliner chair as well. Dad said, go and see one and if you want one, let me know. Which was rather nice.

Spider was dead, but there were webs all inside the flush fitting, so that has been cleaned and the gap into the ceiling covered with tape, so no more can get in. Detest them, they freak me out, I had one put down my back at school once and since then, I have been terrible, before, I was ok with them.

Rats, dislike them too. When we were in France there were Ragondans, huge rats and I mean huge, about the size of a very big rabbit, with the tail about a foot long. We saw them in the river and eating corn in the fields, I nearly pooped when I saw how big they were.

Help yourselved to meds, I am off to bo's too, will be on spider watch for a while, will have three cats with me to warn me of intruders.

Its just shearing the sheep that's set things off and it will settle. I had to actually ask someone to help with my shoes and socks today :shock: Tomorrow will be better as I have hit 300 x twice today of pregabalin and that will help cus it always has..... or I get a bit high so don't notice

Hi Cris, sorry you have to do the sheep shearing cos I've heard you say before that this sets you back. You seem to have a very hard life in some ways, yet I guess when they come, the rewards are very precious. I really hope that things ease up for you and you have a better day tomorrow. I know what you mean about the pregabalins, I was on them earlier in the year for sciatica, boy did they space me out, didn't know whether I was on this planet or the next!

We will all be relieved when we hear how Trish has gone on, she's very precious to a lot of people on here, and she has so much to put up with and still manages to keep cheery (just like you do).
