Hi to anyone around.........think I'm alone.

Will help myself to a pineapple juice and some banana cream pie. Not done anything at all today, too hot, so have lazed and enjoyed it.

Small jobs in the garden are piling up a bit, but it's been too hot to work out there - so have just sat and thought about it!

Hope you've all had good days (apart from the footie fans).

Been in the sun all day sadly the sale was proof most people did go the beach but val I drove past it on the way home and you wouldn't have had much room there at any rate

Rain forecast for Thursday... well showers and I might have to rethink how to earn a bit more money..... Got a plan but might nee you lots help.....

Hey a week on and Bracken is so much stronger. He is tryig to be friendly as well I hope to have some kind of scritchy syndrome and that will make him more friendly....

not been very busy in here today ....... peeps are too hot and bothered I think.

I better give a WONKY WARNING here before I go any further. Anyone of a sensitive disposition may wish to avert their eyes :shock:

Having had a bit of a week Codeine wise, I had cause to take some lactulose on Thursday evening. Bottle says 10-20 ml per night, so I took 10ml. On friday nothing much had changed :oops: so I took some more that evening .... 10ml again. Saturday I had not had any luck :oops: :roll: so took some that evening .... again only 10ml.

Well ... :oops: :oops: ... I think I can say that it finally started to work :oops: :oops: :oops: . I must admit that I was mot amused at first but after a while I must admit that we were both having a jolly good about it all, although I could have done without having to get completely changed twice this morning :shock: :shock:

still I survived the family party with no further mishaps (phew!) and I dare say I don't need to tell you that I'm not taking any more tonight

Not at all Wonky, we share all our troubles and trauma's don't we, better out than in, as they say. :shock:

Codeine doesn't seem to bother me at all, thank goodness, which is a wonder seeing as I am on enough to knock a horse over, as my consultant says.

Have had a nice day, well, painful, but I ignored it as best as possible. Friends from Nottingham came to see us on their way home from Bronte country, we met them and they treated us to lunch at a fab-u-lous garden centre / interiors / restaurant near us, wonderful, took about 3 hours over it, drinks, (Tea), lunch, potter, buy plants, then ice cream and more T..........really good to see them. Stopped me from doing too much at home, which is always good.

OH had done the house from tip to toe, in case they came back, but they had to get back as the boys are at school tomorrow, so we came home to a pristine house, oh, Matron Bubbles was most pleased.

Hope everyone is as ok as possible, sending hugs in all directions. It is hot again, there was a lovely breeze earlier, now it has gone and I am in a lather, again :roll:

It was nice earlier, sunny and warm, but a lovely breeze, now, nothing, not a breath and I am melting too hun, just slapped a wet cloth (liz earle) round my face, but am still all to pot. I think it is meant to cool after tomorrow. 8)

glad you had such a lovely day ...... you deserve it after recent weeks.

We had a lovely chat at the party, so that was good, but as I predicted we were shunted out into the garden and I ended up having to choose between a chair I could sit on or sitting in the shade. Can feel my face is red even with sun cream on :roll: and my arms are a fetching blotchy red from a rash that I think (hope) is heat related rather than anything to worry about.

I'd better be thinking about going to bed soon ...... even if I just lay there it will be resting. Starting to yawn .....

hope you manage to cool a bit and that you can sleep ok.

Oh those of us with crohn's sympathise........

Hope little Legs is surviving the hot weather? i took my 2 loons with as usual and ended up chucking water over then to help cool them..... I think they feel it less than they look as they gte so excited as well..... Me I am lucky cus I love the heat..... bones are not necessarily so pleased but I love it.....

I hope the family thing goes with out mishap now and don't take any more for a min. Slurps and (((( )))) xx

Oh here's one for you.....

I am a bit of a sun worshiper....... this place is remoteish and quiet private......

laid there and fell asleep....... like you do..... and was woken up by a strange sensation akin to being stored by a feather.....

laid on my back means I can't get up too well and for a mo had this absolute panic that i had been found by someone ...... opened my eyes to discover it was just Flo and Ivy They obviously like the taste of baby oil

Not a very pleasant experience mind and they wouldn't get out of the sun either so might have horse shaped lighter bits on my legs and arms........

Thanks hun, it was a lovely treat and yes, we needed it for sure. The sun was strong today, even in the shade, you could feel it.

Resting is good, I am a terrible sleeper, hence the pharmacy that I take at night, but, as you say, even if you rest, you are doing your body good. Take care, hope you rest and sleep some. XXXXX Bubblers

Rowan has gone with his Mum.... back to the stallion and well I do miss him and poor brac's is an only foal juts now BUT primmy is meant to be back soon.... well meant to already be here! Now she I can't wait to see again

Thanks for the T, was pottering, getting the cats supper, getting the cats our of the tea towel drawer, sorting fresh biscuits, for cats and humans, I hope the Pregablins work too, Rheummy wants me on 600mg, but GP said that is quite a whack :shock: he also wants me on 200mg amitryp as well, GP said you will not even be awake on both those doses and with heart condition, I have to be careful with too much amityp. Slowly increasing the Pregablin's to 300, then review in a week with GP. Some days they seem to help a bit, others, nothing seems to work, just the way it goes.

Have to be up at silly o clock to take Dad to the warfarin clinic, at the hossy, might take the folks into Tesco's, will see how they feel. Will do them good to have a break

So I had better say n night, have my last cuppa and a few biccies then go rest.

hi all not great night to hot and hay feaver was playing up lol did not come back on as to hot and achey . having slow morning need to iorn clothes for work get something to eat so can take meds and would like to get grass done out front woke with right hand solid lol so been sat exercising it to get it moving silly thing might have to stick in cold water see if that gets it going val
