I lost touch with my best friend years ago and she is on fb, I requested her as a friend and she declined but is on my eldest sons fb. I have been told by a mutual friend that she is worried I will get more attension than her because of my "condition" I don't want attension just wanted my friend oh well.

My grandma is going down hill very quickly and thats well I can't put it into words, we are very close and when my grandad was dying I prommised him I would be there for my grandma. Just lately I've not seen much of her because of my r/a and I feel like I let my grandad down. My brother spends a lot of time with her and I talk to her on the phone nearly every day. Sorry I am moaning again.

Julie .... there are lots of different ways of looking after someone and being there for them. RInging someone every day is going the extra mile when you are dealing with RA. THat can't be letting either of them down can it? I don't think so anyway!

Hi Julie, i cant believe what ive read (sorry) ''But your friend is afraid you are going to get more attention than her because of your condition'' :shock: Some friend luv. Sorry to be so harsh there but thats got me goat up.I havent got a goat now before you ask, did have yrs back :P
As for grandma she knows you love her & proberbly understands your problems more than you think & by the sounds of it so would your grandad so try not to worry about letting people down cause your not. your trying your best & your best is all you can do.
Your not moaning either, thats just getting things out & sometimes its the best thing to do.
I hope things get better for you soon, try not to worry as that doesnt help our conditions. believe me ive been rock bottom on here & couldnt even say so.
