Am needing a brew and some of that cheese on toast that Trish is having. Hope you have had a better day Trish?

    Hi Chris

I'm still feeling bad' I don't really know what is is, my hands and fingers are really painful, I suppose it is not having any meds at the moment, I hope it is that.

I had another lie in this morning but did go to the hospital as well.

It is pouring down here really pouring down.

Sorry to see that Trish, wish they could give you some painkillers to help until the blood tests come back. Hope it not too long to wait.

It's nice to be in the warm at last. Can I get you another coffee and something wicked. A sticky cream bun or some ice cream? Could just eat some ice cream myself. :D We all need extra calories when it is cold. Well that's my excuse
    Take care

Oh, cream tea, yum just what I needed, Cris, thank you very much.

It's definitely colder here, but the rain has kept on most of the day. We got a few gleams of sun this morning, but it keeps on heaving it down - when we get the really heavy showers the wind picks up as well.

Glad the hen was recovered safely- we've got something on the prowl outside, cos the cat's going dolally at the mo, I can't see anything out there, it's flippin' dark - wish these things wore headlights.

    Hi Cris

Jam and cream sounds lovely, Thank you. Did you get the chicken out Cris?

If you make something that makes a noise won't it frighten him off.

How did the chicken end up there?

    Hi Annie,

Be good if they had halogen lamps fitted as standard :lol::lol: I often pick mine up in the big spot light...... Its an amazing torch but only does 30 mins before it needs recharging :? I like foxes and as long s they don't come in daylight they are welcome and even when its really cold find some idiot left a bowl of food out.

The stupid hen was fine, though she looked a bit bedraggles and mud splattered. ll the chicken and ducks are accounted for and nice an safe in their shed now  I might just sleep better for that one

Do you want some more of this cream tea cus I am starting to feel sick  xx

    Hi Jan,

Do you want another refill? x

Hello everyone. Well, what about Kettering Town Football club then? They have drawn with Leeds United, so will have to go and play them. If they beat them they play Manchester United. Now, I know I have told a few porkies from time to time, but not this time. and no, I have not been dreaming.

Deep down it will be a miracle but then, miracles do happen. You'll see me come up to Old Trafford with my red and white to cheer them on. I think the whole of Kettering will come.

Well I hope you all get a good nights sleep tonight. I off to the land of nod so good night.

    Hi Trish,

Sorry I didn't see you there

Combination of factors put her under the shed...... the biggest factor being a knee high white with black bits over zealous chicken rounder upper........ k050.gif Then there was the heaviest rain I ever seen, the lake, the wind and she was terrified so went under instead of into the shed. Once there I couldn't get her to come out no matter what I tried..... She didn't lock too comfy or warm but she stayed there till the other chicken came out when she ran towards them so pleased :D

    Some more cream tea? xx

    Nite Joy x

    Cris

You will have to get a boat so you can cross the lake you now have.
Is this the worst it ever been there for you?

We have had a lot of rain this year, through the summer and up til now. I think it is.

    It's pouring hard outside.

Maybe we will get a good Christmas, mild, warmish, no snow that's my wish for this Christmas.

Trish xx More cream tea for me please

    Hi Trish,

I never seen 7 acre go under water before and remain big for so long............ I don't think the gales are worse really, they do this in November through to January but they don' normally go for so many days. This one has done 16 days now with only a bit of let up for a few hours but my Nan always said they was the tail ends of the US hurricanes an they had a few to this year didn't they? I spect they are but I never rule out anything she said cus I am equally Cornish :lol::lol:

Stampy has gone lame again cus of the wet and the wind is chucking some about out there but its swung to the north east so at least there is a bit of variety eh?!:lol:

You want another coffee? I shall grab a builders and have some hevva then go and see whats hitting about out there  Oh I got the date through for the next temp denerveing....... 31st of December  That will be a quite new year eve :lol::lol: xx

Nite nite Annie, hope Tillie has come in now. x

    Cris

Your Nan was right, but we generally get it as soon as it leaves them, say like they had a hurrican yesterday and it swings to the East then we get that a few days later so that is what she meant?

Did you get a sale today?

Poor stompy If we get a break from this Cris, she may be bettere. Does she go in the mud?

I'll have some more with you, please

    Hi Trish,

I think it to do with the prevailing winds hitting high and lows over the Atlantic...... I did ask her why they don't get here till November and she had this wonderful idea they get caught up round Greenland :lol::lol: See i do take after her  This one is def a ENE one and its heralding hail  Still it will soon be spring and the gales and rain will get warmer

Stamps doesn't like mud....... But there isn't much in their bit, its wet though cus of the too high water table. I will put her back on the injections as soon as my stupid bones shut up r by Friday even if they don't.......

Did the indoor one today but need the big ones thursday and sunday if poss...... quick bit of sky ranting

    Hows your hands today? xx

I think I better come down and do a Sun dance till spring, for you. :) I will help you while you give her the injection I'll hold her for you, we got there last time did't we?

I cannot wait till Spring comes. I hate these dark nights. It's doom and gloom this time of the year.
