    HI all,

sorry to those I missed ... I think I am late tonight.

I hope there is a cream tea left, or just a scone maybe? not choosey.

Cris - littlelegs is sorry but she will have to let you down .... she is not up to fox patrol tonight having had a run-in with an off-lead dog tonight :x (she is always on her lead  )

She has a puncture wound just near her eye, which was bleeding but not much, and quite a bruise, but thankfully not too bad. Got to take her to vets for a check-up in the morning. Silly really, first time she's had a wound from another animal in 6 years we've had her, so we went into panic mode. Hubby rang the vets, and they were very patient but really meant is it really that serious?! we never learn! just scary near her eye.

We have been doing our bit here for the flooding crisis ...... it hasn't stopped for most of the day :( but at least it has somewhere to go.

Hope everyone with flooding and mud gets a break from nasty weather soon.

I saw the draw for the footie - who could have predicted that they Joy?!

Trisher - so sorry that your hands are so sore .... wish I knew what to suggest. Hopoe they improve soon.

right, antoher quick cuppa before I'm off to bed please?

    night night all ((((((())))))))) (((((((((((())))))))))))))))

Well Wonkey, I'm going to find my sundance dress and winging down to Cris to try and stop the rain. she now has a lake. :D

    Cris

I'm on my way, don't worry, put up a large red flag so I know i'm at the right place.

You can help me do it. We might get a Summer early and have a heat wave.

    Hi Wonky,

Bless her heart I really hope she is ok? They will have to give it a good clean and a course of tablets to prevent infection but deer of her how is she in her self? How are you and your hubby come to that? Its horrible cus she wouldn't have been able to get away being on a lead but it does sound fairly superficial in damage terms but it must have really scared you both and her.

Tons of luv and ((( ))) and slurps Cris xx Oh and I am doing my best to keep the wind and rain but would you like a large area of mud :lol::lol:

Morning all..........a large builders and a huge dish of porridge please! With cream and honey on top.............

It's absolutely yuk here this morning (what I can see, anyway), but never mind, Cris, I've hitched a ride on Trish's chair and I'm on my way down to help out (I wish). I've got a digger with me and a huge industrial dryer for you all. I'll shampoo the sheep and help with the injections.

I'm going to go back to bed now and try to get another hour. Now that I've had my porridge I feel very contented.

I'll leave the kettle on for Del, he likes an early morning one - ooh, I've left the bacon and eggs out, too.

Hope you all have better days

Evenin' all! (That takes me back)

I'm home from the hospital where it was my lucky day - I only got slightly vandalised, last time I had a 4 inch bruise on my left arm. Then lunch out, just soup and a roll and a very naughty sticky toffee pudding, but I deserved it! Then the shopping.........next time I'm taking shin guards and two sticks.............

It's perishing out there today and it was wet with it, but the rain seems to have stopped since I got home (it would, wouldn't it?)

Cris, I have the mud remover right here, will finish my builders and be down right away. Peroxide? Think she might stamp her feet a bit!

Will leave the kettle on the hob..........I will be back for some more soup, a bit later.

    Cris
Peroxide? Didn't know we were giving Miss Stompy a hair do  What colour are we going for blonde, blue how about a rainbow colour for Christmas :D

Hope you are all ok, another dreary day. The sky looked as if we were going to have snow earlier.

    Evening all :D

Jeepers it has been busy today in here, haven't had chance to catch up with all the goss, yet so hello all.

Cris thanks for leaving the tea ready for me, bless you. After two days of rain we have some flooding locally now the poor Nidd can't cope and houses having to be evacuated schools under water too.
Fine where I am thankfully though a very soggy garden.

Jan are you skiving  Not that I blame you it is freezing here.
by the way where have you BEEN! :? I don't have the fancy TV channels which are showing season 6 but have just bought House season 5 on DVD as was hooked from the start. You will be too.

Wonky glad littlelegs is Ok you must have had a fright last night.

Joy- am thrilled for Kettering I do like to see the little football teams do well in the FA cup (pity it was against Leeds, I would get hung if I say that at work  )It will make them alot of much needed cash and will prob get on the telly.

Sorry must jump in a hot bath to thaw out when I've drunk this lovely tea, but will catch up with all the news later and call in again.
    take care all
    Chris

p.s. I've brought clotted cream fudge, the one with the chocolate on :D Some soft toffee for Annie which is rather scrummy, plenty of flying saucers and sugar mice for any kiddies who call in, though am partial to them myself too.
    AND ooodles of
Humbugs for Trish who had wonderful news yesterday :D

    Hi everyone
Have only just managed to get logged on. have been at the hospital myself most of this morning and then asleep most of the afternoon worn out.

What wonderful news Trisher. I think we need a celebration/party.
I've decided, I hope you guys don't mind, to decorate the tables, moved them round a bit into a formal plan. I have put candles on but won't light them yet. I've also brought some indoor fireworks.
I've been down the supermarket and brought back party packs of things, sausage rolls, (because I haven't had time to make them) mince pies, vol en vents, prawns, rolls, cheese. Do you think the pub will give us some bottles of wine, or perhaps you could all bring some. Who will sort the music out? It's time to party, party eh party :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh gosh, I'm really excited now. I think we all needed this. Why wait for Christmas. We'll celebrate Christmas with Trisher now. She will be too busy with that lovely hubby of hers at Christmas.
Thanks for the bubbly and gosh, that chocolate cake looks delicious. I've brought some ingredients to make some pizzas here. After seeing that programme about what goes on the pizzas in the supermarkets, not real cheese and all that, yukk. Thought it would be fun for everyone to put their own toppings on them.
Hospital went fine thanks, just got to wait for the results now.
Probably nothing again. All in my imagination and so on.

Right, what can we get rehab to do.

I think it's good fun doing your own. In the meantime, I have made a start - I'm just started on a mince pie and a Baileys on ice
    here's to you Trisher.
