    Glad you're feeling better, Jan, but what a way to end a holiday! At least it let you have your hols first.

    I'm going to have another cuppa before I start thinking about lunch......

    just popped in for a bucket of energy ...... need desperately to wash my hair ..... so energy needed :roll:

    maybe a hot chocolate as well ...... but I'll skip the marshmallows at this time of the day :wink:

    hope everyone is well(ish) and that the sun is shining for you too.

    might need pocket dwellers twice :shock: I know - being greedy :oops: Friday for rheumatology again & then Monday for dermatology but no-one's told me about the appointment yet :wink: (GP's receptionist did some detective work for me bless her :wink::D:D )

    Wow Toni, you look even more gorgeous than usual. Doesn`t it make you feel good getting glammed up a bit.

    You know, I`m worried about Trish. I usually have a PM from her, even if she can`t get on here. I wonder if anyone else has heard from her.

    How about a bacon buttie, and a huge builders, before I get stuck into some paperwork..........Ange.x.

    Hi Ladies

    Sorry not read back yet.

    I have a repieve of two days if not before. A different doctor called today. I have just two days to see if I improve. I know I told Annie I woulds go but when this doctor said hossy I broke down and cried (Baby I know) but the thought of my wheelchair being taken away from me well it just hit me how hard that would be.

    Never have gotten over what happend at the hossy.

    He has upped the steroids to 40 mgs and he told me they do start to work within hours which I did not know. I have also AB's to two different. if I feel worse I have to ring the doctors surgery number day or night. I promised him I will and I will do that, I lost my nerve today.

    Sorry not been in before but I did fall asleep.

    Jan saw you were back how are you I hope you feel bit better now.

    Will have a coffee and will read back. Will have a sticky bun with a cherry on the top.

    You need Robinson's Pearl Barley. Very good for you with your problem yoi have got. Also get Cranberry juice as well Jan that is very good for you.

    Hubby been on computer as I was helping Val with a task and did not want to let her down so I told heim what to do.

    Anyone need their ceiling done??? I will be up *I expect bouning off ceiling with the higher steroids. Perhaps I might be ok being I', on them already.

    Hi Trish, glad to see you made it in.........if you start flying, pop out to the garden and grab those apples off the high part of the tree!

    Will have a builders, then I must do some chores, hoping for a trip out tomorrow if the weather is not too bad, so need to get organised.

    Now, did somebody say cream?.....with a few summer fruits, please.

    I will come with you if you don't mind me trying to cough. Also rasping as well but will try to be quiet. Will have Jammy dodgers while you have your drip also custard creams. A box of tissues as well an a rope around your waist to pull you out. I tus means HELP I will muster the troops.

    Be careful if #Annie is haveing her usual Whelks and Jellied eels you will have a pocket of shells and bones. :shock: I was too.

    Hi. That's the prob when your kiddies start school. They will pick up every cold, virus, etc going, bring it home which is no help to yourself. All you can do is make sure she has a good iron tonic or something. Build her up. Hope it won't be too bad. I bet she is loving her new school

    Hello everyone. Just about made it in this evening before I go wearily to bed. So tired.

    Trisher, All I can say is you need some TLC while you are at this stage, will keep my fingers crossed you get some results for such a huge dose of steroids. I thought it was bad the other day when I was put back on them, but it was only 15 mg. and I've taken myself back down to 10 mg now the pain has subsided a bit. I feel so sorry that can't get any rest

    I've been rushing here there and everywhere today. First to the path lab to get my blood test done, into town, back home. Then to the art societies exhibition stewarding for the afternoon with hubby helping me because he didn't want me to be left on my own, bless him. Then back up to the hossy for 6 pm. to visit a close friend who was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago.
    Ask to be rescued tonight if possible. When he said that, it made me smile thinking about your attempt to rescue Trish earlier in the year. Hubby mentioned to him about knotting the sheets together which I think I have heard before.

    Now, time for meds and bed I think. Speak to you again tomorrow.

    Hi, I see theres a lot of pocket duties going on, so i'll pack me sandwiches (egg of course) & park myself in the corner of the cafe ready to leap :shock: (maybe not) into the pockets of those going to hossie.
    Dont worry if you think im not there, i will be tucked up in a corner somewhere fast asleep :lol: & you should be able to sniff my eggy sarnies :shock: :lol:
