Yes have nebbie four times a day and have two inhalers as well. I have on of those plastic tubes the inhaler goes on one end and you put the other end in your mouth and press the inhaler.

I forget what they call them.

spacer inhalers, goodness, it took me ages to rack my brains on that one - am loosing my touch. No worries, we can sort all them out,

Yes, with that one they say you get 99% of the inhaler when you use just the inhaler you get a lot less.

It is quite a big thing but easier to use. When I go to hospital I just take th iinhaler.

Yes, they are much better, not many people use an inhaler properly anyway, we used to spend ages trying to teach people how to use them, I was gasping for breath by the end of it all.

Have you ever heard of a Birdie I think that might be right.

Well when I was in hospital and very ill with pheumonia I was on oxygen for a long time.

I don't know why but they bought this cylinder like an oxgen one but every so often they would come over and give me that it did the breathing for me to give me a rest.

Yes, now, I am searching the back of my mind again, but I know what you mean, bipap I think there where called, increased the pressure on inhalation and good because they are non invasive, with better patient tolerance

Yes it might have been what they nick named it it had a mouth piece on it and you put it in your mouth.

Thinking about it I suppose it did look like a beak from what I remember it helped you breath.

Yes, they are very good and take the effort away from the patient, to give them some rest. we used to use them with COAD, or COPD as it is called now. Sorry, I was away with the fairies - mind has gone a wandering.

COPD is what I have been diagnosed as having although I have never ever smoked in my life. They put it down to the blood clots that have gone to my lungs. There have been so many I just got worse.

They are not improving though so I suppose they won't now.

I wish I could say that it would improve, but it is management and medication, much like myself, with the heart problems. Smoking is not always the cause, not by a long way. Just got to move, pins and needles bad.............

Hubby said it is not that one. I'm muddledthey.
It is when the blood clots damage the lungs -mbolism's recurring that is it. Well it caused a lot of damage and scarring. I really thought I had a heart attack when I had the first attack.

I had an op to remove some clots.

The pain is very similar and very frightening, just like an MI. I would not wish the pain of my last MI on anyone.

Going to have to move and sit in my chair with a cup of T for a little bit, before bed. Rain is bouncing down here. Good to see you and catch up a little bit, you take care hun, I mean it, or I will be third off the roundabout as quick as a flash. Sending showers of hugs and hope you get some sleeps.

Catch you tomorrow, well, later today, n night, XXXX Bubbles.

    Morning all, Elizabeth, Ange

We seem to have April here today, sunshine and showers, often together, found a rainbow just now.

I've popped in for a builders, can't work outside now so will have 5 mins and decide which of the 'inside' jobs to do.

Hope you are having good days!
