Hubby laid the floor, he's done a really good job of it, I'm very pleased with it.

We ended up with solid wood, oak, its lovely but we didn't get the one I really wanted, which was small individual pieces of oak, all diferent sizes, it was silky smooth but was also very soft and I thought it would lose its look very quickly with our boy if he decided to take a pen to it or wheel his cars over it etc (he's a little monkey!!) So will have that one down if we ever have to replace this stuff as he'll be older then.

Hi to anyone still in cafe, I've come in for a builders and some strawberry gateaux, have been asleep :oops: most of the afternoon.

Very warm here again tonight, but been a beautiful day. Hoping for another one tomorrow, maybe I'll get a few more jobs done outside.

Oh another beautiful day here........all the washing dried and aired and sorted and put away.......a record considering the last couple of months!

Ready for another builders; in the last couple of hours have started feeling like shift........don't think it's the flu jab, think arther has crept up on me again........I didn't hear him, it's a bit breezy outside.
