If it were my Suzie that's what I would do. As long as the glass is out.
Trish xx
as far as I can tell it is out - why do people throw glass bottles on the floor and let them smash? :x :x in the snow we can't see it to avoid it. First time in 6 years that she has got her paw cut so I am so sorry for her.
thanks0 -
Wonkey
Some people have no consideration for others, or animals cutting themselves.
I hope she is better soon. Just keep bathing it until it is healed. Sometimes they lick their wounds clean.
Love Trish xx0 -
No one here? Thought Trish would be in Just popped in, quick cuppa tea Been up since 5 a.m. Too uncomfortable again to sleep. I can always catch up on my rest this afternoon.
Got to go and get some shopping done after my trip to the drs this morning. I thought that would be all, but will hve to go out again and get salad things on Christmas eve unless send out Hubby on the morning of the 27th. I expect Tesco's will be opening up normally then.
Think I fancy some toast.

I've been up since 5.30am, very cold, I am at work now but would love bacon buttie and tea, can I come over in my break?0 -
Good Morning all! I'm catching a crafty five minutes before starting to prepare the food for today
Did a big shop earlier and it's sleeting here now.
I'll have a large builders and a couple of shortbreads, mmmmm, just what I needed.
Hope you're all having better days, Trish honeybun, sorry you had a bad night again.

Mornin All,
A builder for me please. Hope everyone has a reasonable day.
Hi Wonky,
I would do as you are , salt water and keep an eye on it. Paw cuts normally heal quite quickly and hopefully it will soon be gone for her. I don't know why people chuck stuff to break, I got a 3 carrier bag of bottles, cans and blue vids chucked over the bank in the front corner of the fields......... I really hope who ever does this stuff finds broken glass beside their bed! :x Unlikely though eh? Just that one did cost me another vet bill cus slipper boy hit it at speed and there really was a carrier bag of bottles.....
He sends hi best face and a slurp to his mate. Slurps and ((( ))) to you. x0 -
Hi All.
Hi Cris.
i hope you are feeling better now.
1 mug of tea please.

A large hot chocolate for me, and as many hugs as you can all spare please.
I`m all ready now, place lit up like Blackpool Hallucinations, more chocs than Cadburys, and fridge and freezer groaning. But I`m wandering about a bit lost, waiting for Thursday, and my precious ones to come home. Missed Amber so much this week - well all the time really - pulling everything off the trees, and doing somersalts at the cooking smells. So, my New Year`s resolution is definitely.....start looking for another little one!0 -

HI Angel,
sorry that you are missing amber so much - I bet it doesn't help at all when the snow is around. They seem to love it so much don't they?
Sending you a parcel of hugs for you to reach for when you need them. I have a pillowcase full of them ready 24/7 at the moment so please help yourself to as many as you want ... the hug fairy always replenishes - wish she would not insist on working the same magic with my washing and ironing piles
TI those of you who have offered advice re littlelegs paw - much appreciated. She was ok walking this morning, and it is looking ok, so am bathing it and keeping a watching eye ... there are clinics tomorrow and Wednesday and probably THurs am too if I need to take her .... we'll see.
right, off to get some lunch for real. but save me some shortbread will you please? will pop back later.
hugs to all (((()))) (((((())))))0 -

Annie0 -
Hi Ange,
Oh I am glad to see you write that You know I can let you have the rescue numbers if you need don't you? I have put out feelers for another Springer...... I really would rather not have a pup rally....... not strictly true but Haz would make training on so difficult  Hey have Him He is very good at removing tree bits and summersaults, food or no food I sort of thinking I might get another lamb when I built a shed and they all come home but an old breed that self shears Hope you find Thursday soon comes around ((( ))) xx
Hi Wonky,

Hi Joan,

Tunbridge Wells is freezing  Loads of the white stuff here.

Ange sending hugs as requested, hope you do get an addition to the family next year, such good company. Methinks I might get another puddy cat.

Hi Annie, Del, Joy, Joan, Iris, Linda, Joan. Hope I'm not missing anyone today. Sorry if I have.
take care all
Chris and Carol ( who says hello and Happy Christmas to you all)0 -
Hi Chris, glad you got there safely, have a lovely Christmas break!
It's been a thoroughly unpleasant day here, weather can't make up it's mind, sleet, rain, snow and not necessarily in that order. Most of the snow has gone now, just wet slush, but it looks as though it might freeze on that tonight.
Lovely stuff - I've got to go out tomorrow.
Annie0 -
Oooh, I could go for a hot chocolate and chocolate... And chocolate
Finally gotten better. Had some virus for 3 weeks, and felt the worse a few days ago. Looked like the living dead
Hope everyone else is well!0 -
Cris
Give me rescue too. Not sure if to go to battersea. If I wait until after Christmas, there will be a choice. That is when there are lots. I might get a kitty as well.
They can grow up together.
Trish0 -
Hello everyone, Keifersangel(that's a new one to me) hope you are better.
Sorry I've been awol all day. Drs this morning, then shopping and then sent to see a Chiropractioner, so I'm feeling very tire and in a lot of pain.
Just a cup of tea if one is going. What's this I hear about a Springer, who's gone broody? My friend has two and they are beautiful dogs. Very cheeky mind.
Well I shall love you and leave you I'm going to bed. Suppose to be resting
Joy0 -
Hi to Everyone
Can I have a large coffee please Annie care for a drop of brandy?
Has Cris come in with Cornish ice creams, we can all have one.
Have what you all like to drink, and eat I will pay.
Anyone want mince pies??? Speak up now.
Chris
Saw your message thanks.
Wonkey
Hope little one paw is okay.
Trish xx0 -
Trish, I'd love a splash of brandy in my builders, but I will let someone else have the ice cream - it makes me feel cold just thinking about it!
In fact, I think I would like something hot - ginger pudding and orange custard mmmmmmmm.
I think we might get a little snow and a big freeze here tonight, not sure if my appointment will be kept now.
Annie0 -
Here you go Annie, everything you wanted ginger custard and a splash or three of brandy, well it is nearly Christmas, why not?
Anyone joining us?
Cheers to us all.
Cris
Hope you are warm with your hotties?????

Christmas plans changed AGAIN :x   :x   :x   roll on New Year is all I can say.
what's that Trisher? .... 'silent night .. holy night .... all is calm ....'
there now ...... that feels better thanks for the reminder.
stiff and sore tonight having walked into town and back ..... didnt' want to risk the car, but walking in snow takes so much more out of me than usual.
still, presents are mostly wrapped, cards are posted and the food is bought or ordered for collection ..... so what am I worrying about?
Tomorrow I have to set to the 'spare' room trying to unearth the bed that is reportedly in there somewhere  but not sure where the boxes are going to go :? :? :?
perhaps I will put them into the car .... it's not getting used for much else right now
right, anyone else for hot chocolate with chocolate sprinkles and choccy biscuits too? loads here .... just help yourselves.
hope everyone manages a good night's sleep.
hugs to all ((((((((((()))))))))))))))
PS - littlelegs is not happy with her foot so may visit vets tomorrow :roll:0
