    Right, that's IT! I am doing nothing else apart from reaching out for my glass occasionally (sometimes my mug full of tea) today.

    In celebration I will have a large builders and a merangue with cream, cream and cream.

    Well things are getting organised here. The nieces are making trifle and mince pies and doing the veg. for tomorrows FEAST! Yummy
    So I have time to call in for a brew and a top up of merriment.
    Wonky hope you ok I gather Yorkshire has had another dollop of the white stuff!! We had rain last night so has cleared some of the mountains of it here at last.
    Trish, the stitches now out for you, do hope you are enjoying some family time with Ben and not struggling too much with those dancing bones. Am missing our late night chats.
    Hi Jan hope the tum better and fancy burning the mince pies! I'm not laughing honest :lol: Well maybe just a little.
    Joy hope you are coping with things and that you do have a good day tomorrow.
    Ange the family should be with you now so hope tomorrow fills a little of the void which is still there and that the New Year is a good one.
    Cris Hope the feet a bit better now and that the evening duties all done so you can have a rest.
    Glad to see Val back with a new adaptor, oops Del what a shame SWMBO caught the flowers early, but it is the thought that counts.

    Well I'm afraid the Maple Pecan Pie is no more. I knew I should have bought a ready made pastry case. Always listen to Delia.
    The ingredients listed were going to be too much for my pastry case so I halved them. Tried to poor the mixture in the case which had collapsed sides anyway.
    Then went to lift it into the cooking tray. I know, did it the wrong way round. As I tried to lift it, I put my finger through the bottom of the pastry. Well I cooked it like it said, almost set the kitchen on fire because of the smoke. The mixture has somehow ....... oh well..won't go on so sorry pecan pie passed over. I brought some brandy instead. Must admit don't uually have mishaps like this.

    Hi Everyone,

    Just dropping in some Mead, mulled and ordinary, some mince pies and some cream (that’s clotted not the runny kind :wink: ). There is also a create of Champaign pink and normal. I would leave him k050.gif to guard it so there will be plenty for tomorrow but he has to wait for a pantec-sleigh to deliver all his coal :lol::lol: Mine only comes in a bag :lol::lol:

    Came back in and so far have picked the tree up 4x :? I glad they can't do it to the hawthorn :wink:

    You and Bill have a lovely day and I will try and pp in sometime tomorrow but have a bit of a problem with the connection..... too much freezing fog I guess.

    Turkey sandwiches, Mince pies, sausage rolls, Vol e Vonts, there's tea, coffee, and some wine to keep you going.

    I don't envy them 19 pups actually.......... All potential Slipper-Boys :lol::lol: They are cute though and one of the mums is really nice and jumps all over me :D The other one is much better behaved :wink:

    I don't know a lot but I do know for sure the word SHARE is not in The Lady W's remit :lol::lol::lol:
